The Salvation Content of the King of the North

John Thiel mp3

Scripture Reading: Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

I wish to share with you a very important thought because I understand all of you who are gathered here have a united stand on the subject of Daniel chapter 11 and the king of the north.

This subject has been bandied about amongst modern Adventism with so many conflicting views. Not only this subject, but so many others of the original Adventist message that has been left to go astray in the minds of modern Adventism today. Because of the big discussions to and fro on some of some of these subjects, there are many people that say nowadays – “ah, is it really so important? I’m tired of the of the discussion and of the conflict on these subjects; let’s concentrate on salvation.”

Is the subject of the king of the north anything to do with salvation? This is what I have been has been levelled at me because I have been ministering now for the last 25 to 30 years as standing on the original platform of Adventism. I study the subjects of Daniel, the prophecies and Daniel chapter 11 and give explanations on these things. This subject of Daniel chapter 11 is a detailed prophecy of the rise and the fall of the kings and empires of the world from the time of Medo-Persia which was conquered by Greece. The history continues in literal explanation right through to the very close of probation, the plagues and the end of the world.

During these years of my ministry, I have picked up the teachings of early Adventism as I mentioned already. I’ve used the writings of the pioneers:

  • Daniel and Revelation by Uriah Smith
  • The writings of Stephen Haskell
  • and many others of the same nature.

I see all the way through their study on this subject, is in harmony with each other. I’ve been in bewilderment and confusion as I grew up in the Seventh-Day Adventist church and there was this splintering of doctrines that was taking place in front of me. I decided to take hold of original Adventism which the Holy Spirit directed me and I expected that in presenting this beautiful truth, everybody would be enthralled as I was but lo and behold to my dismay, I hear that these prophetic studies are not salvational.

I still remember ministering to some people because I prepare people very carefully for baptism. It takes quite a while for some people and I showed them all the doctrines. One minister said to me; “Oh brother John don’t burden poor old ladies with such heavy subjects. Just preach to them the beauty of Jesus and committing themselves to His way. Leave these other ones out”. I thought what sort of a ministry is that?

Because the people are confronted by so many conflicting views especially on Daniel chapter 11 and the king of the north of verse 45, they say this is not salvational. I still remember one Adventist minister who said to the young people I was studying with when they got all excited. They came to him and said wow dad this is beautiful; Daniel chapter 11. He says; son, that’s not salvational. Just concentrate on Jesus. The young person said, but I found Jesus in this. It’s a heartache for me to see over the years how young people have taken hold of these beautiful truth truths and then were discouraged by their ministers and by their parents and have drifted back. It’s a heartache to watch.

Is the Book of Daniel not salvational? We read our scripture reading in Daniel chapter 12:9 and 10. What did we read there?

Daniel 12:9 Go thy way Daniel go thy way for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified and made white and tried.

Does that have something to do with salvation? The Book of Daniel was closed until the time of the end and in the time of the end, people will be purified and the wicked will do wickedly and none of the wicked will understand but the wise shall understand. What does that terminology remind you of in the words of Christ? You heard about the wise and the foolish virgins. The wise virgins understand and they follow the bridal party in to salvation but the foolish virgins who didn’t understand were left behind. Was that salvational? As we study the book of Daniel, who is the centre of salvation? Let the Bible express to us as we worship. The concepts that I announce in words, I want to let the Bible warm our hearts:

Luke 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, 28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, 29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: 30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, 31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; 32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

Here is an old man who sees Jesus and had been waiting for him. Simeon is his name and there in verse 25 he gets all excited. Jesus even as a little baby was recognised as salvation. Jesus is salvation according to that beautiful declaration of Simeon. Let the Bible clearly enunciate what salvation really is and I want to do this all the way through the course of our meditation.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Our salvation pivots upon the activities of the Son of God and as we look at the Book of Daniel especially chapter 11, the vision of Daniel 11 is associated in the events of that vision of our salvation

Daniel 10:13 and 14 was the preamble to the vision by the angel as he came to Daniel. In the vision in Daniel chapter 10, the angel Gabriel is speaking to Daniel in verse 13:

Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

What did you pick up there in that first scripture? Texts that are there as he was trying to work with the king of Persia. Michael had to come and help him. Michael the chief of princes. Many people have varying views of who Michael is but let’s qualify it in verse 20 and 21:

Daniel 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. 21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Who was the Prince of Israel? None other but Jesus Christ their Prince of Peace.  In this vision the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ is integral.  It can cannot be separated from this. This is the activity of the angel Gabriel and Jesus Christ; Michael your prince working and orchestrating the history of the world.

In Daniel chapter 11, you read in the course of the prophetic detail coming up to a certain point in time. I’m not proposing to go through the whole book of Daniel chapter 11, I just want to highlight some important points about salvation here in Daniel chapter 11.

In one of those segments of Bible history, we read in verse 20 and 22 of Daniel chapter 11 and here you see it. You can understand well what is meant here if you know history talking of the event here.

Daniel 11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. 21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

Here he is again; the prince of the covenant. When was Jesus born? Who was the emperor of Rome at that time? His name was Augustus Caesar. He was noted as the collector of taxes. At that time, Jesus was born as we know. They all had to go to their original place of birth and that’s why Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

After this emperor came, his erst while son. This person when he was ruling Jesus was crucified. Soon after this emperor also was slain. Here is Jesus in the story of the history being brought to our attention. He was there behind the scenes and then he came and was born under Augustus Caesar and then he was crucified during the Roman Empire which was the segment of that particular prophecy.

We read an interesting quote from the Spirit of Prophecy here which really clarifies the importance of the subject.

“When the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son.” Providence had directed the movements of nations, and the tide of human impulse and influence, until the world was ripe for the coming of the Deliverer. The nations were united under one government. One language was widely spoken, and was everywhere recognized as the language of literature. From all lands the Jews of the dispersion gathered to Jerusalem to the annual feasts. As these returned to the places of their sojourn, they could spread throughout the world the tidings of the Messiah’s coming. DA 32.2

It was called the Augustin era because it was perfect. We get that word Augustin as everything was blooming beautifully.

It was smack bang right in the middle of this beautiful Daniel 11 study that Jesus came right at the appointed time. As you go through this prophecy study of Daniel chapter 11 it’s profound, it’s enthralling to see how everything fits in together and comes up in at the right time.

I’m making a point of this when we come to the end of it so as you study the Book of Daniel and the prophecies, 2 Peter 1:19 tells you that it is very much salvational because what must happen in your heart to be saved?

He had just expressed that what they believed was absolutely true and their testimony was to be believed but then he said verse 19 he says, besides what I’m telling you he says:

2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy whereunto you do well that you take heed as unto a light that shine it in a dark place until (what?) until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts.

What does prophecy do?  It is a more sure word than even the testimony of the witnesses like the Apostles because you can make a personal experience of finding Jesus the day star through the prophecy. As you study the Book of Daniel, you will find Jesus all the way through and the day star will arise in your hearts.  What will happen with the day star arising in your hearts that is your salvation? My salvation to have Jesus in my heart isn’t it? Isn’t that what it’s about? So therefore the study of Daniel, the study of these prophecies is essential for salvation.

It was essential for the salvation of the Jews to identify the prince of the covenant crucified at the right time. Wasn’t it by the fact that the Jews rejected Christ and crucified Him. They were fulfilling prophecy and they should have been saved if they would have paid attention to the prophecy. But they didn’t and they were lost as a nation.

Luke 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

I just find it so beautiful when I study Daniel chapter 11, you can identify the timing and Jesus is saying in this thy day, if you would have known prophecy you would have known who I am.

Luke 19:43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Salvation is Applicable to More than One Issue

Should they have known. Prophecy studied properly, it would have given them the time of their visitation and they would have known. Is it salvational?  Can you see what is developing here? The term salvation is applicable to more than one issue. The most common application of salvation, just believe in Jesus and you will be saved – as they say is that Jesus has come.

Matthew 1:21 His name shall be Jesus for he shall save his people from their sins.

That’s regarded as salvational and that’s even misconstrued today. Saved in their sins? No, from their sins. That is salvational.  The people say oh no we will go sinning until Jesus comes. No we are to be saved from sin but then the others say well salvation means going to heaven; that’s where I want to go and I’m going to be saved to go to heaven. That’s the only mentality that people seem to be concentrating on. But salvation is much broader than that. Let’s just have a look here at the way that the word salvation and being saved was used in the Bible in in the Old Testament.

Deuteronomy 20:1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 2 And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people, 3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; 4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Is salvation to do with Jesus and God conquering the enemy? That’s salvation – he shall save you.

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

What’s that? You shall see what? The salvation of the Lord. Salvation in this particular circumstance had to do with being safe from the enemy. All through the book of Songs, the terminology of salvation and being saved has to do with God stepping in to care for God’s people under the threat of the enemy. Who’s our greatest enemy? We know is Satan is our greatest enemy and he is working through the issues of life around us today through war, through bloodshed, through all kinds of things to destroy God’s people and we are to be saved from our enemy.

Psalms 18:34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. 35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

David was a man of war and God saved him. He was his salvation.

Psalms 18:46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. 47 It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. 48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

War

Salvation is more than just going to heaven. Salvation is the word that is applied of God stepping in for his people to save them from many manifold situations in life. It is so important to understand when we study the subjects of the prophecies and the rise and fall of the empires, the term salvation applies across the spectrum. Even in today’s modern thinking, people talk about how I was saved from this terrible episode and from this terrible scene and so on. It has to do with spiritual and physical matters – salvation. What does the Psalmist say? He is the rock of my salvation. Jesus is the rock of my salvation? Let’s go to see the rock of our salvation dealing with war.

Revelation 19 and here is Jesus behind the scenes during the plagues and during the plagues there are some terrible events both natural and military.

Revelation 19: 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS

Does Jesus have anything to do with the political world around us with the wars that are going to happen at the very end? It’s all here. This rock of our salvation speaks to us in these latter days. He speaks in reference to our understanding that we must have. Remember the wise will understand? Jesus is speaking specifically of the importance of watching so that we will not be caught out when the destruction strikes.

Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

So important a point does he make here. We have to watch carefully because we’re going to be caught. We’re going to be caught naked. We are going to be caught out He says. You are to watch so that you won’t know exactly the day, but you will know if you watch and not be caught by surprise.

Matthew 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Now this evil servant, will he be saved? And will the people that believe what he is teaching be saved? They’re not getting meat in due season but there is a faithful servant that gives meat in due season. The wise will understand. Is this evil servant an unbeliever in the coming of Jesus? how do you know? Because he says he is a servant of God. He says in his heart my Lord delayeth Hos coming. he doesn’t say it in public, he says it in his heart. But in public he is preaching the coming of Jesus but he is saying in his heart my Lord delayeth His coming. Will he be saved? Salvation you see.

To receive the correct messages so that the language is very clear, that when Jesus comes, the Lord of the servant will not be looking for Him in an hour that he is not aware. I want to ask you a question first of all. Is this statement in reference to Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven? Won’t everybody see Him? Won’t everybody know He is there and all the events beforehand? What is this talking about? The day that will catch them by surprise?

She quotes the words of Jesus watch therefore because we don’t know when it will be.

We are waiting and watching for the return of the Master, who is to bring the morning, lest coming suddenly He find us sleeping. What time is here referred to? Not to the revelation of Christ in the clouds of heaven to find a people asleep. No; but to His return from His ministration in the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary, when He lays off His priestly attire and clothes Himself with garments of vengeance, and when the mandate goes forth: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy still.” 2T 190.1

When Jesus closes probation, that’s what will catch people by surprise. If they are not watching, will they be saved?  How salvational is this issue? The events of Daniel chapter 11 span to the events when probation closes and the plagues commence.

We read it in Daniel chapter 10:14 and remember the angel was saying what I’m about to show you is what will befall thy people in the latter days. How important then that we understand it correctly? If the Jews would have paid attention to the prophecy, we already saw they would have known the day of their visitation. Did they partake of salvation? No because they did not know the day of their visitation. By careful study of Daniel chapter 11 knowing who the king of the north is, we may know the day of our visitation. Can you see from how the Jews were an example to us, how important this subject is so that we will not be caught out like they were caught.

The King of the North

Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

What’s that word? What’s another word for delivered? Saved.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Blessed are they who die in the Lord from henceforth under the three angels. I love the way the word of God interlocks with itself and unfortunately people have lost that connection today. They’ve lost their bearings but if we stand together with those who give meat in due season, we will not be caught. At that time when the king of the north will set up his tabernacle of his temple, the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain, we know exactly where that is when he sets up his kingdom. He shall come to his end and at that time, this will be the day of God’s visitation for God’s people when Jesus finishes His work in the most holy place.

That’s what Jesus meant when He said watch because this will take you as a thief. He specifically told them watch. Watch what? Nobody knows the day or the hour but what are you to watch? You’re to watch the events in harmony with the study of the prophecies and as you study the prophecies, and you see the events fulfilling around, you will not be caught by surprise.

Let me emphasise brethren and sisters as we stand together on original Adventism, don’t just fight for original Adventism because you will still lose yourself unless you put into practise the system of truth that will actually save you at the time when probation closes. We must be prepared well before probation closes. We must have our robes washed white. This is why our Sabbath School lesson that we’ve been studying is so important that we may know what it means to be sealed so that when Jesus finishes His work we will be safe and secure. We will have received meat in due season but the argument whether this doctrine is right and that doctrine is right and so on, I’ve watched it over the years of my life.

My father was arguing viciously with those who weren’t agreeing and I thought to myself, we are losing our focus on Jesus while we’re arguing the doctrine. Yes I do believe earnestly we must have the pure doctrine but the pure doctrine is to lead us to Jesus and that’s the most important issue. That we will know the rock of our salvation in the application of the true doctrine. The king of the north of verse 45 will come to his end is the same thing in another prophecy when he will come to his end and none shall help him.

Let’s go to that prophecy that is directly related to this one.

Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

In Daniel chapter 11:45, the king of the north comes to his end and none shall help him. Original Adventism understood the king of the north to be Turkey. Then came all the false doctrines that it is the papacy etc etc. But the king of the north being Turkey, what was Turkey the headquarters of? The headquarters of the Ottoman Empire, it represents the Muslim empire and we know today if you look at the events around you today Turkey, president Erdogan is gathering together who? The Muslim summit. You can see it all there in in the unfolding of the events he is gathering together to re-establish the Ottoman Empire in his dream. Where is he looking to put his headquarters? Israel/Jerusalem is the place where he wants it. But ultimately he shall come to his end and none shall help him.

Armageddon

When the Pioneers understood the king of the north, they also understood the sixth plague. What was the river Euphrates a sign of? Or a symbol of? A river represents in Bible prophecy the nation’s that is surrounded around that river. As you study the watershed of the river Euphrates and where it runs, what is it? The river Euphrates is none other but Turkey and all the Muslim world around the river Euphrates. The pioneers taught it perfectly. The river Euphrates is going to dry up. The king of the north will come to his end and none so help him. That is the beginning of the battle of Armageddon. We can see today with understanding this subject as the pioneers taught it, versus the ones that is being taught today, they regard Armageddon not as a physical war. They regard it as a spiritual war. This is what I hear wherever I listen in modern Adventism today. Even amongst the independents. Many of them are teaching that Armageddon is not a battle of physical warfare.

I studied once with a Seventh-day Adventist minister some years ago and I showed him exactly the detail of Armageddon from all different directions and he said well, the scales have fallen off my eyes. I can see that it is a literal battle. The fact is that he shall come to his end and none shall help him, the river Euphrates is going to dry up and it’s going to lead to the battle of Armageddon.

Notice what Jesus had said that day when probation closes and he (king of the north) puts the tabernacle of his palace in the glorious holy mountain. When that time comes, probation will close and Jesus said watch so that it will not overtake you as a thief.

What does Revelation 16:15 say in reference to Armageddon?

Revelation 16:15 Behold I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments lest he walk naked and they see his shame.

What an interesting insert. If I am not watching the events of the drying up of the river Euphrates, if I think it’s just a spiritual battle and not a physical one, where will I and my children be caught up in? It’s called the winepress of God’s wrath. It’s called where blood will flow to this to the horse’s bridle. That’s what it’s called. Is that something to do with salvation? Today seventh-day Adventists are going to war. Where will they be caught? “Oh Armageddon is just a spiritual battle”. No, it’s a physical battle and any person who is in the in the army, will be in the bloodbath.

They need to be saved from that because they have the correct understanding of Bible prophecy. We must know not only what the truth is not to get caught out but we must know the preliminaries that lead to Armageddon. We must understand all that detail and that’s why it is so essential that we study it

Don’t let people say to you it’s not salvational. Don’t listen to these evil servants or who have their torches lit from the hellish torch of Satan. They are confusing the issues and we will be caught naked if we listen to them. Bible Commentary – here are the preliminaries that I want to draw to our attention.

John writes I beheld and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne. Angels were uniting they united in the work of him who had broken the seals and taken the book. Four mighty angels hold back the powers of this earth till the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads. Four mighty angels hold back the powers of this earth till the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads. The nations of the world are eager for conflict, but they are held in check by the angels. The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:967 (1900). LDE 238.3

The wars we know so well. First world war, the second world war eager for conflict all the time.  The middle east you can see it.

The nations are eager for conflict but they are being held back. The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:967 (1900). LDE 238.3

The first world war didn’t destroy the world, the second world war didn’t destroy the world. They’re still being held back.

When this restraining power is removed there will come a time of trouble and anguish. Deadly instruments of warfare will be invented. Vessels with their living cargo will be entombed in the great deep. All who have not the spirit of truth will unite under the leadership of Satanic agencies, but they are to be kept under control till the time shall come for the great battle of Armageddon. The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 7:967 (1900). LDE 238.3

How clearly do we want it?  Is it salvation? Unmistakably. The angels are holding back the winds of strife while the other angel is sealing God’s people. Are we occupied with the sealing experience? Because that’s the preliminary and if we’re not occupied with that sealing experience, we are going to be caught with our pants down – naked. Not having correct meat in due season, we will be caught out with the wicked servant. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

What will be expressed when they haven’t watched and when the day of probation has closed and the time of plagues such as never have been will happen and the war will be a bloodbath, when they see all that happening, what will they declare an anguish of soul?

Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

Salvational? When probation closes and the people are not aware of it, and they are embroiled in the affairs of this world, by the wicked servant that that is eating and drinking with the drunken. And they are under the ministry of such an evil servant, what will they say when it’s too late? Ah!  It is a Salvational issue I’m not saved. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. We are to study carefully and I’m just sharing this subject with you so that it will send you to your Bibles. It will send you to original seventh-day Adventism because they were the ministers that were giving the message in due time.

We are living today in a dreadful catastrophe where in upholding those pioneer doctrines and prophecy studies, you will be howled down like I was. You will be made small of – don’t worry about it. Just study carefully to make sure that you and I are standing on the right platform in practice. I was called up in the army when I was 19 when the war in Vietnam was happening. I was caught up. I was still in the Seventh-Day Adventist church at that time but I had my personal conviction and I said to them I’m sorry I believe in not partaking of war. The Adventist church didn’t support me. In fact, they sent their young people to Vietnam as medics. I still remember a good friend of mine that I went to school with. I went to do my nurses training in the Sydney Adventist Hospital and he was downstairs from where I was upstairs and he was howling at night-time. His name was Warwick Webb. Pastor Webbs son. I said, what’s the matter Warwick? He told me his experience as a medic in Vietnam. He had PTSD full-on. He was really destroyed and I thought, that’s what you saved me from Lord. Thank you. It’s worse to come.

Will we stand together on the platform of original truths and have nothing to do with war? Because Armageddon is the final war. Make the original Seventh-Day Adventists messages your own. Pay no heed to present teachers of modern Adventism that deny what has been once firmly presented as truth. Who deny that the king of the north is the Muslim central Turkey. That is summoning at the present time the Muslim states. Who deny that Armageddon is a literal war.

Embrace Jesus in the truth so that you will be covered by his righteousness and you will not be found naked in the time of Armageddon.

This is my prayer for us and may we continue to fellowship together to enhance our preparation in this preliminary time so that we will not be naked ourselves.

Amen.
