Intelligent Comfort in the Day of God

John Thiel mp3

Scripture Reading: Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.  10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

During this study, I wish to reflect upon the last six months of our Sabbath School lessons – SSL 2023 (1st half) – Lessons on the Day of the Lord and then usher in the value of our next six months of the Sabbath School lesson – SSL 2023 (2nd half) – Studies on Daniel 11.

Joel 3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. 12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. 13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. 15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. 16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

We have just read something of prophecy that tells you of the grim day of the Lord that already we have experienced somewhat on this earth but it is going to be so bad.  It is called a winepress of the blood flowing because of the wickedness of man and the destruction that man is encroaching upon himself.

What is this in the last part of verse 16? But the Lord will be the hope of His people and the strength of the children of Israel. Who is this hope? What hope do we have when the blood will flow across the globe because man will be destroying each other in the terrible scenes in the day of the Lord.  Those of us who have studied these lessons in the last six months, there was some unpleasant detail that we studied. Especially in the first three months. It wasn’t a very nice scene. Among all that terrible day of the Lord, God is the hope that we are to have. This is the theme of this study. We must have an intelligent hope in that day. We must have comfort that is given from an intelligent understanding rather than an emotional one.  This is the purpose of us to research. Let us go into more detail:

Joel 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: 10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. 11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen,

We were reading about a terrible gathering in the valley of decision. The harvest is ripe, the press is full. The fats overflow for their wickedness is great. All in this valley of decision, there are other scriptures that give us the detail from all different angles.

The Harvest

Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. (The margin says dry.)

The sickle is to cut. This is the work of the third angels message which points to the coming of Jesus.

“for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision:”

Revelation 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

What was written in Joel? The harvest is ready, it is ripe, the winepress is full ready to be trodden.  The winepress of Gods wrath is full.

Joel 3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

Can you see it’s talking of the same event? The terrible winepress of Gods wrath in which the heathen and wicked are all to be slaughtered in the blood bath. It says the blood will flow.  Who comes down according to Joel? In Revelation 19 Jesus and the angels are coming down to conduct the blood bath of the wicked. Revelation 19 says His garment was splattered with blood.

Isaiah 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? 3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. 4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. 5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. 6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

Can you make the connection from scripture to scripture? Who is it that comes with His garments sprinkled with blood? It was His own blood.  In Gethsemane Jesus was looking for comfort even from His disciples. There was none to help Him. They didn’t understand what Jesus was about.  This is the year of my redeemed. I want to come to save them now and it is the year of redeemed and I’m going to destroy the wicked all at the same time.

The Vials of Gods Wrath

The winepress and the voice from Jerusalem – these are mentioned again as we read in Joel

Jeremiah 25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. 31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. 32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. 33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

In Revelation it says the birds will eat the flesh of these people. How do you feel? If you take these words for what they really are, what sort of a future is ahead of us? The winepress of Gods wrath. The day of the Lord. The winds of strife being let loose. The storm. That was our study in detail in the past six months. I have repeated these scriptures that we covered.  This is no storm in a tea cup. This is a worldwide conflagration. It is a disaster of total devastation:

  • The eruptions of nature.
  • The eruptions of the passions of society that can’t be controlled anymore.
  • The passions of political strife.
  • International war.
  • Ecclesiastical conflicts let loose.

The one of whom we were reading was Jesus who is the hope for His people. What does He write and speak when He was on earth? He makes direct reference to these prophecies.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

This is the time of Gods wrath and then Jesus comes in the clouds and Jesus says to His disciples, if you are part of His church; likewise when you see these things come to pass.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

This is the reality to some degree has been unleashed. We have behind us the first and second world war with all the PTSD that come with that. My generation are children of those who have suffered badly during those wars. We wonder why the world is full of trouble and men’s hearts failing them for fear of what is to come. They are trying to hold back the terrible conflagration that is to come.

When He leaves the sanctuary, darkness covers the inhabitants of the earth. In that fearful time the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor. The restraint which has been upon the wicked is removed, and Satan has entire control of the finally impenitent. God’s long-suffering has ended. The world has rejected His mercy, despised His love, and trampled upon His law. The wicked have passed the boundary of their probation; the Spirit of God, persistently resisted, has been at last withdrawn. Unsheltered by divine grace, they have no protection from the wicked one. Satan will then plunge the inhabitants of the earth into one great, final trouble. As the angels of God cease to hold in check the fierce winds of human passion, all the elements of strife will be let loose. The whole world will be involved in ruin more terrible than that which came upon Jerusalem of old. GC 614.1

Worse. If you take seriously what we are reading, if children and young people are listening, what sort of a future is ahead of us? There are a lot of young people that are taking their lives today as they can see with their own bare eyes there is no future for them. They can see it. The world is already looking grim now but we still have hope as the winds have not been entirely let loose. Jesus is still our intercessor and he is pleading with us. Come to me, I want to perfect you. I want to help you at this time. If we are really seriously prepared to believe the prophecies of the Bible, we are called upon at this time. We are called upon to take hold of the answers that come from the Bible because this problem that is going to affect the wicked, is also to some degree going to affect Gods people. As we are reading this, am I going to be able to stand and cope with all this?

The very beginning of the evil was a neglect of watchfulness and secret prayer, then came a neglect of other religious duties, and thus the way was opened for all the sins that followed. Every Christian will be assailed by the allurements of the world, the clamors of the carnal nature, and the direct temptations of Satan. No one is safe. No matter what our experience has been, no matter how high our station, we need to watch and pray continually. We must be daily controlled by the Spirit of God or we are controlled by Satan. 5T 102.1

Here we are receiving a vision. A light in a dark place to know exactly where we should be and what we should be doing at this present time. That is the detail of the last six months of sabbath lessons. What we studied are of vital importance to be secure when the day of God is fully unleashed.  When that day of God is fully released, when the angels don’t hold on anymore, we need practical and intelligent hope and comfort.

When Jesus was on earth, the disciples met a storm on the sea of Galilee which is a metaphorical description of the hopelessness that is going to be met when the storms are going to be let loose.  A great whirlwind is going to be released. That whirlwind on that ocean of life is what the disciples experienced and Jesus was with them on the boat. They thought they were sinking and Jesus was asleep. When we go through dark moments of life, we often wonder where is Jesus in all this? Jesus was there. Jesus is here with us.

This is the year of his redeemed when we meet that storm and we story with the disciples to learn from.  Christ was with them. He stood up when they said master we perish. We can’t deal with this. He stands up and says peace be still.  There was another occasion where again they were in a terrible storm but this time Jesus wasn’t with them.  He was praying in the hills around the sea of Galilee and they were going to meet him on the shore.  As they were rowing and let their boat be drifted along, the storm arose. They were in fear. They were going to lose their life and they couldn’t control their boat. It was filling up. Where was Jesus? Object lesson is that Jesus wasn’t even there and how would they survive? Then Jesus was walking on the rough sea towards the boat and they saw him and He said be not afraid, it is I. they thought it was a ghost. Jesus was not with them but came to them. In both occasions, Jesus demonstrated what we read in scripture reading. He demonstrated that even if we are in the wildest storms that cannot be safely crossed, you will be in danger of total devastation, total death, here is the promise and ability of God in such occasion. Jesus demonstrated it to them.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.

Wasn’t Jesus their refuge? The disciples feared alright but we have to learn from them.

Psalms 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High

Psalm 46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Christ was in the midst of the terrible storm.

Psalm 46:6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

We need intelligent comfort. Only those who have the appreciation of God being truly with them, that will be our refuge and comfort.

Psalm 46:8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

These descriptions we read, are all being alluded to. When that happens, what did Jesus say? Peace be still. What is the comfort that the disciples and that we are to pick up on? Be still.  When everything is wild around you. When the heavens fall.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Jesus demonstrated it to them in that terrible storm in the sea of Galilee twice over.  Once he was right there, another time he came to them.  Very important object lesson for us to learn and understand that we can have a comfort in the midst of the wildest storms.

Jesus said to winds and waves, to the troubled waters, “Peace, be still.” Oh, how many times have we in our experience been in a similar position as were these disciples. How many times has Christ revealed Himself to us and turned our sorrow into joy. Letter 5, 1876. CTr 242.5

I can testify to that. It is precious. When everything seems like it is looming up and there is no good future for you anymore. Jesus can turn the tide.

Oh, powerful Redeemer, gracious and compassionate Saviour, able with Thine infinite power to calm all tempests, able to revive all hearts. He is our Redeemer. We may trust Him in the storm as well as the sunshine.—Letter 5, 1876. CTr 242.5

It is easy to trust him in the sunshine isn’t it. When this terrible storm is released, it is going to be of a nature that we think it is the end. We have to remember what happened to the disciples.  They thought it was their end and Jesus could turn the whole thing into a wonderful release for them.  He has done it in so many areas. We want to meditate that we are looking at these examples of the children of Israel and what the Lord has helped us in the past, he has brought us through terrible times and he has brought us through.  While these examples may be a comfort to us, while we may find ah yes, I can see my way through by the light of the word, there is something that even the very elect if possible, could miss out on.

I want to introduce a comfort that can be found for the future that we are going to be studying over the next six months in the history of the nations revealed by prophecy of Daniel 11. We are going to behold Jesus. We will see Jesus working behind the scenes throughout the history of the empires of the world detailed. Daniel 11 doesn’t give symbolic descriptions.  Daniel 11 goes into the detail of the nations, the kings and their behaviour through the years of each empire, the disgusting situations that result in wars and destruction and each nation comes to the next empire after it has been destroyed by the next empire. The terrible empire of Rome, this crushing experience that can be clearly studied in detail in Daniel 11. We are going through it step by step. As we go through it, what are we in need of seeing in all that? That Jesus is there, the day star that should arise in our hearts.

Daniel 10:10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

When this person came into the experience of Daniel, he was meeting Jesus, God. He was trembling. Believe me, when you meet God like that, you will tremble too.  I know by experience.

Daniel 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

Here is a vision that is going to go from Daniel onwards to our time now. “I’m going to show you what shall befall your people in the latter days”.

What did he say? As He was working with the king of Persia to bring about the circumstances of the world empire that was to control the world for that period of time, he said, “The prince of Persia withstood me. But lo Michael (Jesus) one of the chief princes came to help me”.

What are we seeing here? The angel and Michael (Jesus) were orchestrating the events of the invasion of the King of Persia upon Babylon and then through the history continued. What are we seeing? The history of the world events orchestrated by Jesus and Gabrielle. They are working behind the scenes. All you can see if the warfare between the empires. There is some bloody warfare going on through the history. The people who were there in the warfare said – where is Jesus? Just like the disciples. If you don’t know the prophecy, you won’t see Jesus. We need to have intelligent comfort as it comes to the days when it befalls us in the last days. We need to know something.

Daniel 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. 21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

“Lead on oh King eternal”. Do we really know what we are studying in the Bible when it pertains to the reality of our life and this world in it’s final death struggle? When fear wants to overwhelm us, are we fully equipped with the knowledge that Jesus is there with me? The disciples were scared. You will be scared until you realise what I’m sharing with you here and what our studies will be for the next six months.  Michael will be there. He was working behind the scenes with Gabrielle. There will come a point in time where Michael will come visibly to influence the world:

Daniel 11:20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. 21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

Who is the princes o the covenant? Here is a segment of the prophecy that points to a raiser of taxes. Who was the raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom?

A Raiser of Taxes in the Kingdom of the Roman Empire – Caesar Augustus

Have you heard of the Augustian period? The gory of the kingdom of the emp9ire of Rome. He as a collector of taxes.

Luke 2: 1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2 And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

Jesus was affecting the nations unseen, now he is born as such a time as Augustus Caesar and there is prophecy; Daniel 11.  Now Jesus comes into the scene. After Augustus comes the next emperor which was a very smart fellow. During the time of this emperor, Jesus was crucified. The prince of the covenant. We are looking at Jesus behind the scenes when the disciples were storm and Jesus wasn’t there.  then Jesus was in the storm among them. Interesting comparison.

So in heaven’s council the hour for the coming of Christ had been determined. When the great clock of time pointed to that hour, Jesus was born in Bethlehem. DA 32.1

You are studying that in Daniel 11. It comes to the point where the empire was the golden period and there Jesus was born under the Augustin period.

“When the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son.” Providence had directed the movements of nations, and the tide of human impulse and influence, until the world was ripe for the coming of the Deliverer. The nations were united under one government. One language was widely spoken, and was everywhere recognized as the language of literature. From all lands the Jews of the dispersion gathered to Jerusalem to the annual feasts. As these returned to the places of their sojourn, they could spread throughout the world the tidings of the Messiah’s coming. DA 32.2

If you have been listening carefully and meditate on this, can you see that God is in perfect control? As the nation’s fight, as the bloodshed takes place, as the horrible scene of human interaction, Daniel 11 and the history fulfilled there, Jesus is in control. Here we are receiving a very intelligent revelation that we are not just relying on the lovely story in Galilee, we are not just relying on that. We are now studying in the detail of Jesus visible in action through prophecy. That’s intelligence. That’s an intelligent understanding. It is during the time that Jesus was on earth, that the apostle Peter said, we are not telling you any fables. We are telling the truth. Prophecy tells you it is the truth and many people look at the apostles story and moan and try and make it of none effect what happened to the apostles? While Jesus was on the earth, they made an experience with Him.  Young people, if you ever have the thought, is this really true? Haven’t we been misguided here by fables?

2 Peter 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

Apostle John said we touched and handled Him. We know by experience. But do you know by experience? You have to rely on the apostles. Apostle Peter says; but just a moment, if you don’t believe us, there is something even better than what we are telling you:

2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

The Disciples Didn’t See Prophecy

The apostles made an experience but they didn’t understand prophecy just like the pharisees didn’t understand the prophecy and didn’t recognise Jesus was really going to do what He did and that He was going to die and rise again. The disciples lost their hope in Him for a while as they didn’t see prophecy but apostle Peter now says, you have something more than our story to comfort you. Our story tells you that we were helped by Jesus. We were brought through the disaster and Jesus who was working behind the scenes, all through the history up to their point in time, came and was born. You know so well the whole world is affected by Jesus being born here on this earth. We count our years from His birth. We could the world events through the dark ages, we see Christianity all interactive and the world has been affected by Jesus as He came visible but then He left them and prophecy had to continue to reveal to us the rest. Jesus returned out of sight and continued behind the scenes. What were the words of Jesus to the disciples?  Before He left He said this:

John 13:19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

Prophecy tells you beforehand and then when it fulfills in front of you, ah, there is my Jesus in prophecy. The daystar begins to arise in your heart.  Remember what Daniel 11 was given for? What will befall your people in the latter days. What will befall us in the latter days that we must recognise so we can recognise Jesus at work?  This is now the latter days.

Daniel 11 verse 45 speaks of the King of the North. The King of the North comes to the latter days.

Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

We are following through Bible study of Daniel 11 so we will be brought into a clear appreciation of Jesus at work right through the storms of all the history. Right through the storms of His own death and resurrection. Right through the storms of the rest of the world history to the point in time where Jesus will stand up who stands for His people and there will be a time of trouble. Such a terrible time of trouble that unless you have Jesus in your heart; the daystar, you will not survive.  You must have Jesus to survive through the terrible storm that is ahead of us. What sort of an intelligent knowledge of Jesus must you have? The Jesus of the prophecy of Daniel 11. Not just the Jesus of Galilee that is a past experience. You must have Jesus in the present experience – now.

You can only have that if you know Him that the daystar has arisen in your heart. Only then can you survive through that. I can’t emphasise that strongly enough. I’ve been through hell myself. It is only through this knowledge that I have that I’m still standing before you. As it’s been mentioned, I have a terrible story behind me that people are picking up and making issues of. I could have been wiped off the plan long ago if I wouldn’t have this knowledge. I want to say to every one of us. Study Gods word carefully in the next six months of sabbath lessons and secure your hold upon Jesus. Without this knowledge of Jesus, we will not survive.

We will fall off the platform of truth. You will go and trust in other doctrines and teachings that are not the pure doctrines of truth to be able to survive in the darkness of that time We have hope still if we come to know Jesus. Study as he is revealed in us. Study it carefully and be diligent as we saw in the sabbath school. As Jesus was with the disciples in the storm, our knowledge of Him orchestrating the storms of politics around us, the storms of the nations, the earth events described, as we study him like that, He is brought very close to us. Seeing Him in the storm.

Revelation 19:11-18 we will see Jesus on horseback with the angels conducting the final evil destruction. As you see the destruction, you will see Jesus because you know he is there. You can’t see Him visibly but you know He is there. The Lord is with us. It is the day of His redeemed.  Isaiah 63 – the year of my redeemed is what you are going to be seeing see. A blood bath of destruction we are going to have in front of us.  The day star is to arise in our hearts as we apply ourselves diligently to the study the Sabbath lessons are going into.  You will receive Michael your Prince and so you will be able to stand in that day.
