The Characteristics of the 144,000 and the 144 Facets of a Diamond

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

As a young Christian walking in the light of truth finally, I look at the scriptures and I look at them continually and there are many scriptures I pass over with little understanding. There are many realities I do not see until I implore the Lord to guide me into all the truth. We all have this experience and the fact is there are certain phrases in the Bible that would seem not right. As we see from 2 Timothy all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is necessary for instruction. Luke 19 describes the scene a few days before the Passover. It describes the multitudes on the road. There would have been millions of people on the roads all going to one place, Jerusalem. There were at least two realities of which people were going there for and one was that some people want to crown their Lord and saviour Jesus and go from the Roman bondage they were under. It was expected that he was going to be crowned king. We look at some of the people that were on the road.

Luke 19:38 Saying, Blessed [be] the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

I don’t think i would be rebuked if I had said to you that I have looked at that verse many times and seen the stones would cry out? I thought it was funny to think that a stone would cry out. From 2 Timothy We see there are no fill in gaps, every word of every phrase of every paragraph is given for a specific reason. If the stones would cry out, what would they say? How would they say it? Would it be rattling’s and indistinct noises that you would expect from stones? Would it be an audible reality that we would hear? Maybe it wouldn’t be words or something else. Maybe a reflection of this stone that we would look at it and see something. What will the stones say? This is our study. In looking at the characteristics of the 144,000 I’m aware of my vocation in life. That was to know the reality of precious things, the amalgamation of metals, the use of stones and all things we would find in the jewellery area. In looking at that, I would find there is a stone there that would bring out this reality.

As we look at these characteristics, we can understand the essence of the stone and know what it would say. In exploring this, I bring before you the blue fire 144. It is a special cut of time. Normal diamonds have 58 facets, all diamonds have 58 facets. There is no such thing as a diamond piece or a chip, they go in the bin. All diamonds are fully and wholly cut of the same reality except for this one. This diamond has 144 facets. Man and the gemmologists have found that this diamond is 8% more brilliant than any other diamond they have been able to cut. It fully reflects the light imparted to it. It is of pure carbon that a diamond is made of. That is a base element. It therefore has a crystalline structure which is across the board. There is only one way we see the diamond in the ground. When a gem cutter cuts the stone, he cuts it with a chisel and a hand hammer and every part of the diamond is used. This is substance is the hardest substance on earth. It comes from the bowels of the earth. If we take the earth as a whole, we have seven plutonic plates and roughly 24 smaller ones. These plutonic plates do many different things. Some ride up to each other and burst up or they rub and move down.

The reality of these tectonic plates is that they are the fault lines of the earth. The centre of the earth which is of a fire of great magnitude is like an egg shell. It’s only a couple of hundred miles and the rest of it is molten lava and magna. When we come to these tectonic plates, there are fault lines. There is a weakness in the earth that comes up as volcanoes. There is much carbon in the ground. All life has its basis of carbon. No living thing is not created of carbon, all living things are created of carbon. As the carbon pushes through and passes through different realities of material, as it comes from foliage in the giant forest, it cooks the materials. Immense heat changes the substance of materials. It changes organic material into carbon. Whether that carbon is pure or impure is the difference between coal and a diamond. A diamond can also be black but its reality has been chastened and it comes up as pure white. These buckled pipes are pushed up from the centre of the earth. Man drills into the earth and pulls it out. Man cuts it and it’s ready.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.

12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

We see the facets that have been created on the diamond.

The Body

The top has a table of which the light comes through. It reflects to both sides then leaves and goes back to where it came. There is the crown, the girdle, upper pavilion, lower pavilion and the culet. Looking at the top, there is the star facet, the kite facet, and the girdle facet. The point is called the culet. All of these facets are cut by a man. Each and every facet has a reality in itself and in the body of the diamond.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

As we see the table is the only source of life, we can presume that the source of life is of God and the table is Jesus and from God the light is passed through our Lord and Saviour. It’s passed through the Holy Spirit to us and back to where it comes from. The light of the table is in and it’s out. No light is held internally. No light is drawn from the outside of the stone, only from the table.

Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

12:5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

The size bears no advantage whatsoever, all are part of one body.

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

The perfect alignment and the order of these facets are set by the stone cutter. The facets don’t say which type it wants to be, it’s the up to the stone cutter. Each facet is ground and then polished. This causes immense heat to come from the stone. The stone grows red hot from the heat and pressure to polish it. It’s not an instant reality done in a few seconds, it’s a long laborious process. It takes days to polish one facet.

1 Corinthians 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.

12:26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

If one facet is damaged, the whole body is reduced. If two facets are marred, the light that is expelled from the body is diminished even more. When we damage a diamond, it becomes valueless. Each facet is governed by the other. If one facet is damaged as the light comes down, it’s impossible for it to reflect perfectly and it will shine out diminished light to the other facets. When God sees a perfect reflection of himself through the 144 facets of this diamond, what will he do? It is at that point that Jesus takes off his kingly robes and puts on his robes of vengeance and says it is done.

Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

As we see from the stone and the realities of it their close communication with each other, there are many different sizes in these facets. The top ones are big and the bottom ones are long and tall and every facet has equally the same responsibility to retain that light and return it to where it came. There are no facets that over take each other, they have been given straight lines. Impossible for them to impede on another facet. This facet can be very clean and the other very dirty. Are we our brother’s keeper? We surely are. We are not to covet, oversee, instruct, we are not to tell them anything, that is the stone cutters job. Not the facet, the facet has no relationship whatsoever. What would a stone say if the disciples would hold their peace?

Luke 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

What would the stones cry out? what would they say? What do they tell us?

Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, [is] the LORD of hosts: the whole earth [is] full of his glory.

On the top of the scepter was a crown, studded with diamonds. Every diamond emitted light, bright, clear, and beautiful. Inscribed upon the crown were these words: “All who win me are happy, and shall have everlasting life.” {CET 161.1}

The 144,000 were all sealed and perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a glorious star containing Jesus’ new name. {EW 15.1}

Upon the crystal sea before the throne, that sea of glass as it were mingled with fire,–so resplendent is it with the glory of God,–are gathered the company that have “gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name.” With the Lamb upon Mount Zion, “having the harps of God,” they stand, the hundred and forty and four thousand that were redeemed from among men; and there is heard, as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of a great thunder, “the voice of harpers harping with their harps.” And they sing “a new song” before the throne, a song which no man can learn save the hundred and forty and four thousand. It is the song of Moses and the Lamb–a song of deliverance. None but the hundred and forty-four thousand can learn that song; for it is the song of their experience–an experience such as no other company have ever had. ” {GC 648.3}

Amen.
