The Son of Righteousness

How real is it to you and valuable for us to frequently express ourselves of the value of our relationship with Jesus and to identify the realities and the sense of need of those realities? How much do we trust in Him? Is He dearer than all the earth beside? The way to test that is when He asks us to do something and there are other things to detract us whether we will let the detractions go. That is the way to see if that is true.

Misusing the Testimonies of God’s Love

In our last study ‘Gods Letters of Love through the Spirit of Prophecy’, there were letters that didn’t sound like love. They were very sharp and cutting and we saw that we must understand that the one who is speaking to us in those letters is the one who has great love and compassion for us and we can make a correct conclusion from those statements. Indeed it is possible to misuse the testimonies of God’s love. We saw previously that God’s love to his church was demonstrated for the people living at the very end, a special love at a time when the winds of strife are let loose. They are being held back as God’s people are not all sealed and they would not be able to survive through those terrible times. 13. My Life and Health Principles

We are living in the Day of Atonement, in which an investigative judgment is taking place, and the life and death seriousness of that investigative judgment calls for a serious self-examination as it did in the typical Day of Atonement. They were called upon to fast, to examine themselves, to make sure that there was no sin left in their life. That was the symbolic picture for us living since 1844. Now we are called upon to fast and to examine our lives to make sure that for eternity our sins have all been confessed and we have put away our sins not only in confession but also in living reality.
