Pain with Hope or Hopeless Pain

Pain with hope, or hopeless pain, which one will you choose? As sinners, you and I are destined for redemption. Every inhabitant on this planet must pass from death unto life and there is not one person who must not pass from death unto life.
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And [that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
The Pharisees and Hypocrisy
Christ gave his disciples a warning:
Luke 12:1 Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
The leaven of the Pharisee’s. Leaven is like a yeast. You start with a small bit and as you add it to the bread it pervades and causes things to grow. Hypocrisy if it is not dealt with will leaven the entire being until we grow up full of air, full of pride, full of air like a puffy loaf of bread. In order to make a good loaf of bread you have to give it a good punch and knock the air out of it. However, no hypocrisy can be tolerated in heaven therefore He says beware of the leaven of hypocrisy. We often like to examine ourselves and say that was the leaven of the Pharisee and I’m not a Pharisee so therefore I don’t need to beware of the leaven of hypocrisy. Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees

As a Christian church we want to look at Jesus because that is the reason why we are a church. When we look at Jesus, we look at Him coming to this earth with an object. Remember what He said when He came from the wilderness? He began to preach the kingdom of heaven is at hand. He came to launch out the kingdom of heaven on earth. He came to launch out a religion which when I look today has been dreadfully contorted. It is expressed in the words of Jesus to Nicodemus.

The Lord and I

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.
In this study it is my purpose to bring everything that I have ever preached in the past down to a living companionship with God. The term I just expressed, everything I have ever preached, it is something I’ve appreciated from the book Ministry of Healing;
The mere hearing of sermons Sabbath after Sabbath, the reading of the Bible through and through, or the explanation of it verse by verse, will not benefit us or those who hear us, unless we bring the truths of the Bible into our individual experience. The understanding, the will, the affections, must be yielded to the control of the word of God. Then through the work of the Holy Spirit the precepts of the word will become the principles of the life. {MH 514.1}
This statement we must understand. As we hear the sermons and read the Bible, many people still do not find the true benefit of it all. . The Church Triumphant in Prophecy

Previous studies have shown that to be candidates of the church triumphant we need to reach certain qualifications of which these qualifications were enlarged. We also saw the need of submitting to the counsel of men and women of years of experience in the Lord if we will be of such a church. This study concludes this focus with a study of the church triumphant in prophecy. As previously studied, this church is a very difficult one to join and be part of. We tend to be in a time right now that is very perplexing. We live in perplexing times when it comes to identifying God’s church today and recognising such a church. The perplexing detail is expressed in Matthew 24. Jesus is speaking in reference to our time;

Securing Our Salvation

2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
The reason for our worship from one Sabbath to another is that He is our creator and redeemer. We are overwhelmed as we contemplate his creative power and when He created the human race in Adam and Eve we had no part in it. He did what He chose to do. He wanted to create a people who would be akin to Him created in his own image but we know that through the rebellion in heaven this planet joined ranks with the enemy and here we exist as sinners. The plight of humanity is the offence of one.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
We are here now all of us and death has passed upon all of us and we are all sinners. However:
Romans 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
We live in hope. Here we are and there are many a young person today who has taken their life as they see no hope but for those that see the dilemma of the human race and the plight of their own condition there is hope because by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. 1 Peter 1:9 Receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls. 10 Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] unto you: 11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
The Longing of Your Heart
Jesus tells us of things that receive blessings. One of those things is recorded in Matthew 5.
Matthew 5:6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Do we hunger and thirst after righteousness? To be hungry you have to be empty. What do children do when they are hungry? Cry. Blessed are they which do hunger. It’s a good position to be in, to be in need; hungering and thirsting after righteousness. David longed and was hungry and thirsted after righteousness.
Psalm 107:3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. 4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses. 7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation. 8 Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men! 9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. The Lord is worthy of our worship and we are gathered to worship. We are here to worship as we hear his word, the word of God. We today live in a similar atmosphere of Christianity as did Israel when they were in Babylonian captivity. As the Israelites were caught by Nebuchadnezzar in the time of Ezekiel they accepted they were captives and they would make the best of it and live in Babylon under Babylonian conditions and the Israel of today has accepted the circumstances in which we live in although they are often foreign to true Christianity. The words of Ezekiel can be very applicable to us if we do not guard ourselves. God knew something about the Israel listening to him speaking and preaching. Read the rest of this entry
God’s Way of Education

The Bible in Education by A T Jones is a book about this worlds system of education that we have all been affected by. It all goes back to ancient Babylon and Greece.
True education is more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers.
