Did you hear the news? Jesus is coming. Do we want to be ready for his coming? The 144,000 are not defiled with women. It was also written they follow the lamb whithersoever he goeth. Jesus is coming and we need to follow him as he leads the way to victory over the world. For thousands of years since the whole world has been in sin, the devil that rules this world has been trying to kill God’s people right from the beginning, right from when God put enmity between the woman and the serpents seed. Enmity is what makes war.
As this enmity is placed, it was placed for our salvation because if it wasn’t there we would love the devil so much. As Adam and Eve sinned their mind became the mind of the evil one perfectly so they were estranged with God and God was their enemy and they ran from him instantly and they were friends with the devil. To put man on neutral ground again, God had to do something. He had to make them and the devil enemies. Man was now at enmity with both of them. That put man in the position to choose which one he wanted. There was an inclining to good and enmity gave man the power of choice. In order to give man the power of choice it also opened up a walk which otherwise wouldn’t have been because the devil and his angels are somewhat united as a house divided cannot stand.
