Our Living Experience in the Sanctuary Message – John Thiel

John Thiel mp3

Scripture Reading: Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

A very warm welcome to us, to our meditation and this hour of divine service, our living experience and emphasis. Living experience; that we will comprehend it only in the surface, on the surface, in our intellect. But the message of the sanctuary that has raised the Seventh Day Adventist Church, that is the very message that has brought about a denomination. This sanctuary message is the distinctive message that has produced such a church. A doctrine that has been most controversial:

Daniel 8:14 Unto 2 ,300 days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

That date took us to 1844 and the understanding of the sanctuary was not clear to the minds of the people before 1844. Today, just as in the denominations of the time of 1830s to ’40s, this subject is poorly appreciated. Even among modern Adventists today. For those that are hearing this message, who have not been under this ministry, you may agree with me that if you’ve been in the Adventist church, you have hardly ever heard presentations in the pulpit from the modern ministers of today on the sanctuary.

That there is a two apartment sanctuary in heaven has been severely attacked within Adventism. When I was a young man, 19, 20, 21, I was in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in an institution there, just kilometres away from the Avondale College and I was listening to the teacher of the ministers, a man by the name of Desmond Ford who was undermining the very message that in heaven there is a two apartment sanctuary of which the earthly sanctuary is a copy. The pioneers of Seventh Day Adventists were divinely enlightened that there is a heavenly sanctuary, that explained their disappointment of expecting Jesus to come in 1844.

Great Controversy 423 throws a direct clarification upon the subject of the sanctuary for us even right now, where it says:

The subject of the sanctuary was the key which unlocked the mystery of the disappointment of 1844. It opened to view a complete system of truth, connected and harmonious, showing that God…GC 423

It was what was delivered to Seventh -day Adventists. It was a complete system of  truth, connected and harmonious.

The people at that time, although this complete system of truth came up before them:

The people were not yet ready to meet their Lord. There was still a work of preparation to be accomplished for them. Light was to be given directing their minds… GC 424.4

To where? To the temple of God in heaven.

…to the temple of God in heaven; and as they should by faith follow their High Priest in His ministration there, new duties would be revealed. Another message of warning and instruction was to be given to the church. GC 424.4

These words are weighty, a complete system of truth that was found in the sanctuary and the temple of God in heaven, which was to be understood so that new duties would be revealed, so that a practical experience could be discovered that was not fully understood. Souls of this modern age, the truth of the sanctuary message, my work was not merely to preach about it, not merely to preach about it. I just want to read you a quote that affected me very early in this ministry. Many years ago I read this statement and it really meant so much to me and I’m going to share it with you right now.

Much ignorance of Scripture prevails, even among those that preach the Word. Well-educated, intelligent men preach at the Word, and around the Word, but they do not touch the inner meaning of the Word. They do not present truth in its genuine simplicity. These men, considering themselves authority, tell their hearers that they cannot understand either Daniel or Revelation. 8MR 413.1

The Lord really impressed me if you’re going be my servant, you don’t just preach at the Word, you just preach about the truth, these messages. You go into the inner meaning. You take the people through the system of truth. My work was to take souls into the exercise of the discovery of this truth in experience. Sometimes people get a little bit weary with my detailed method of presenting the Word. We go from text to text to text to text and it’s a bit tedious for the natural man and it was tedious for me too but oh what I discovered was precious and I want others to experience this and here it is beautifully chronicled.

The Bible contains all the principles that men need to understand in order to be fitted either for this life or for the life to come. And these principles may be understood by all. ED 123.2

Does that include you young people? These principles are to be understood by all.

No one with a spirit to appreciate its teaching can read a single passage from the Bible without gaining from it some helpful thought. But the most valuable teaching of the Bible is not to be gained by occasional or disconnected study. Its great system of truth is not so presented as to be discerned by the hasty or careless reader. Many of its treasures lie far beneath the surface, and can be obtained only by diligent research and continuous effort. The truths that go to make up the great whole must be searched out and gathered up, “here a little, and there a little.” Isaiah 28:10. Ed 123.2

As we said, it’s a system of truth and it’s all connected and harmonious. You want to discover that which is beneath the surface.  Oh how I love this statement because I know it by experience, how important this is.

When thus searched out and brought together, they will be found to be perfectly fitted to one another. Each Gospel is a supplement to the others, every prophecy an explanation of another, every truth a development of some other truth. The types of the Jewish economy are made plain by the gospel. Every principle in the word of God has its place, every fact its bearing. And the complete structure, in design and execution, bears testimony to its Author. Such a structure no mind but that of the Infinite could conceive or fashion. Ed 123.3

Discover this because I’ve discovered it. Every study of God’s word connects me with the author because I can see a mind behind this system of truth that is supernatural and when you discover it the complete structure its design and execution bears testimony to who is the one who gave it. You meet your God. To discover it by study, as we’ve just been reading, to discover this system of truth is what was given to a Seventh -day Adventist.

In searching out the various parts and studying their relationship, the highest faculties of the human mind are called into intense activity. No one can engage in such study without developing mental power. Ed 124.1

If you don’t want to end up with dementia, just study God’s word. I can tell you my own mind has been made sharp because of the study that I have just described here. You meet the mind of the author of the universe.

And not alone in searching out truth and bringing it together does the mental value of Bible study consist. It consists also in the effort required to grasp the themes presented. The mind occupied with commonplace matters only, becomes dwarfed and enfeebled. If never tasked to comprehend grand and far-reaching truths, it after a time loses the power of growth. As a safeguard against this degeneracy, and a stimulus to development, nothing else can equal the study of God’s word. As a means of intellectual training, the Bible is more effective than any other book, or all other books combined. The greatness of its themes, the dignified simplicity of its utterances, the beauty of its imagery, quicken and uplift the thoughts as nothing else can. No other study can impart such mental power as does the effort to grasp the stupendous truths of revelation. The mind thus brought in contact with the thoughts of the Infinite cannot but expand and strengthen. Ed 124.2

Mark that young people, effort, and I want to tell you, unless you put an effort into this, you’re not going to discover it. Young people, the Lord will help you to come to this beautiful reality of meeting the mind of God through the Bible. It’s that system. No person can come to you and say, “Oh, these are just fairy tale stories. These are fables.” to you. When people say this, you have a little giggle in your heart, you poor man, you poor person, you just don’t understand. When you understand what I’ve just written and read here, you become so secure that nobody can destabilise you, nobody, because your mind, by careful effort of Bible study, discovers an experience with God and there’s no glory of yours, none whatsoever because it all comes from Him. You can’t pride yourself that you know something. I never forget the language that was uttered by a minister that was very close to us who said, “You know that you know that you know don’t you?” And I said, “Look, I don’t know anything.”

As I mentioned, it is this system of truth that I learned from the pioneers of Seventh -day Adventism. It is that’s where I learned it and predominantly by S .N. Haskell He is my mentor because he knew how to study the Bible. You just have to take his little handbook, SNH school Bible study handbook. It is loaded. It’s a tiny little book. It’s loaded with what I’ve just been reading to you. During this hour my purpose is to give you a sample of the impact of that system of truth upon our experience. A living experience in the sanctuary message.

The opinion is widely held that the sacrifices and offerings of the Hebrews possess no significance for Christians and can be of no interest to them. Review and herald January 9 1883.1

That’s what I’ve heard as I grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. The sanctuary of the Hebrews, what’s that for? You know they became tired of it and that’s why this generation and every generation after this generation of ministers don’t handle it. Because this view, this opinion is widely held. That the sacrifices and offerings of the Hebrews possess no significance for Christians.

This opinion is without foundation. It is true that the ceremonies of the Mosaic law are not now to be observed. Review and herald January 9 1883.1

Correct? We don’t observe them anymore. But when rightly understood, they are seen to be aglow with sacred and important truths, aglow. These rights appointed by Jehovah himself contain most precious lessons for the people of God today.

…but, when rightly understood, they are seen to be all aglow with sacred and important truths. These rites, appointed by Jehovah himself, were like so many beacons to light up the path of God’s ancient people, RH January 9, 1883, par 1.

It is the study of the sanctuary that I have pursued that is to discover and to engage in that. The lessons for the people of God today from the sanctuary.

Viewed in the light of the cross, they contain most precious lessons for the people of God today. RH January 9, 1883, par. 1

It is a living experience that I can testify of.

The Words of Jesus

Jesus says these are beautiful words and many Christians love these beautiful words but follow carefully. He’s talking to the disciples.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

When Jesus said, you know the way, why did He say to them, you know the way? The Lamb was slain and then the priest took the blood, the priest took the blood and he went into the sanctuary into the first apartment and sprinkled it there. According to the Hebrew sanctuary where was the throne of God? Where was the Father? It was part of the altar of incense, and in the most holy place, the Ark of the Covenant. There in the sanctuary, what Jesus was pointing to?

You know the way to the Father and they didn’t, because they didn’t understand the sanctuary properly. That Jesus was the way that entered into the first veil, into the second veil, and into the third veil to the Father. This is the way. I am the way to the Father. No man cometh but through me in the whole activity of the sanctuary. See these words that we have just been reading, they are taken by the majority of Christians as beautiful sentimental words, but in my experience modern Christianity as also modern Adventism have no substance behind those words. They do not know what Thomas said. We don’t know because they do not know the substance that only the sanctuary message can reveal. Jesus is talking about His way in the sanctuary.

Psalm 77:13 Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary.

Jesus said I am the way. God’s way is in the sanctuary. Let’s consider those words as the Apostle Thomas was saying “We don’t know the way.”

John 14:3 I go and prepare a place for you, and I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. 4 And whither I go you know, and the way you know.  5 Thomas said, Lord, we don’t know where you go and how can we know the way. 6 Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by this way.

Did you know do you know where Jesus went to prepare a place for you? You know there are so many people who read this and say: “In my Father’s house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you. I go and prepare a place for you.”

They think that He’s going there to the heavenly sanctuary and ordering the heavenly sanctuaries to give us a place to live there. That’s what they think. Where did Jesus go to prepare a place for us? Where did He go? I Go and prepare a place for you. Where am I going? What am I doing there Hebrews 9?

Hebrews 9:4 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands.

That’s the Hebrew sanctuary, which are the figures of the true. Here you get it, the Hebrew sanctuary was made by hands. It’s a figure of the true one, but into where?

There was an activity there in heaven, that’s where Jesus went to prepare a place for us in the heavenly sanctuary. It puzzles me how Christians and ministers can’t comprehend this. Then I listened to Des Ford and I listened to him carefully. I thought, why can’t he see it? It’s there in the Scriptures. There is a place that the earthly sanctuary was a figure of. It’s the heavenly. In Hebrews 8 we see it plain and clearly.

Hebrews 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

Isn’t that obvious? I don’t know how people have lost their direction. He went to the heavenly sanctuary, to prepare a place for us in the heavenly sanctuary. That’s what Jesus said.

Hebrews 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

What was shown Moses in the mountain? The pattern. And people think, “Oh, he was shown a little sort of a draft of the sanctuary.” No. He was shown the real sanctuary that the Lord pitched and not man, and he was to make a copy of it. So, everything that you see in the Hebrew Sanctuary, what were the words of Jesus? “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh to the Father but by me. And thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary.” Jesus is in the sanctuary. God’s way of salvation, the way of salvation. Don’t walk in your own ways. Walk in the way of salvation. That is a practical experience. The way of salvation is in the sanctuary.

If I want to know how to be saved, I will find it in the sanctuary in detail. The activity of heaven is reflected in the Hebrew sanctuary as a type of the reality. Like it says there, a shadow. Here I stand and the light shines that way and the image of me is in the shadow, yes?  That’s what happens.

The Sanctuary Service

We will come to know the substance of God’s way of salvation, of God’s way of work for us, and therefore we will be able to cooperate with Him because we are studying in the Hebrew sanctuary what He’s doing in the heavenly sanctuary. As we study that, we will realise the practical experience that’s involved there. We will realise that, “Oh, there is something for me to do.”

Have you heard the ministries of today? “It’s not of works. You don’t have to worry about anything, you just believe in Jesus.”  Well, they don’t understand the sanctuary, because the sanctuary work shows our part in the work of salvation. It shows it all. This co -operation. When Sister White writes this, she’s not writing an opinion of her own, she has understood the great system of truth. The work, did you hear it? The work of gaining salvation. Did you pick it up? If you want to gain salvation, there is a work.

The work of gaining salvation is one of co -partnership, a joint operation. There is to be a cooperation between God and the repentant sinner. This is necessary for the formation of right principles where in the character man is to make earnest efforts to overcome that which hinders him from attaining to perfection but he is wholly dependent upon God for success. AA 482.2

This weak, sinful, helpless person has to make an effort. As he makes the effort, the power of God comes into effect. That’s what we were reading about, studying the truth, isn’t it? An effort that people find too hard to go and search the Scriptures through and through looking for treasure.

If you knew that in your backyard, deep under the ground, there is a big pot of gold, what would you do? You’d start digging, wouldn’t you? All of a sudden you come to a level of rock. “Oh, I think I’ll give up” Huh? “We can’t get through that rock” You wouldn’t give up, would you? You’d go along and get a jackhammer or something to start making holes through the rock and you would go and work hard and wow, how much longer? How much further do we have to go? But there’s a pot of gold there. I’m going to reach it and you will work hard. That pot of gold is in the study of the word of God young people, brethren and sisters. I can’t emphasise it strongly enough. Our hope lies in a place. The mansions are already there. He wants to make sure that you can be there and not spoil the scene.

He wants to prepare a place for me and you in the sanctuary work. How do we enter there? We’re following Jesus, yes? If you don’t believe that the earthly sanctuary is a copy of the heavenly, you will not realise what you are in need of doing.

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The apostle Paul is dealing with following the high priest in His work. Come boldly. I am the why Jesus said to the Father, come boldly to the throne which is there in the sanctuary, in the altar of incense and the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark of the Covenant and the altar of incense is one item in heaven. It’s the wheels within wheels. Those four creatures. I haven’t got time to show you this at the moment. Those four creatures and the wheels within wheels carry the throne above them. Those four creatures are the four horns of the altar, did you know? The four horns on the altar are a symbol, just like a horn is a symbol of a king. Those four creatures are part of the altar of incense. It’s all shown in the Bible. It’s exciting. It’s amazing what you see in the Bible.

I just tripped across that this morning that there was a voice from the four horns of the altar and then I realised, another discovery, a voice from the four horns, a voice from those four angels. Now there it is in those beautiful words, we may come boldly and understand what’s happening and engage in what’s happening.

Hebrews 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

He’s been talking about the Hebrew sanctuary and now he says, “Having, therefore, brethren, boldness to enter,” where? “Into the holiest, by the blood of Jesus.” Remember, the blood of the Lamb was taken into the sanctuary. We had to follow through the blood of Jesus. We had to follow because He was the priest that took His blood “by a new and living way. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary. The new and living way which He had consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say his flesh.”

The apostle combines a whole lot of thoughts here because Jesus’ body was a temple. You and I have a temple. Inside of the flesh there dwells the divine nature in Jesus. We come to the discovery of the internals of the sanctuary through the veil, “that is to say His flesh and having a high priest over the house of God let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” So, where? It is our faith which enters there with a true heart in the full assurance of faith. The faith of the sanctuary message that the pioneers were given and that we are in need of embracing. This is what Jesus meant when He said in John 12:26. All these words become only meaningful when we know the sanctuary message.

John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

What did Jesus mean here? There in the heavenly sanctuary our High Priest is functioning, who has become one with us and He is engaging the heavenly sanctuary with us because as we accept Him, we are in Him. That’s where the whole atonement message comes into focus. Are you really one with Jesus? If you are really one with Him, you will be there with Him. You will be there with Jesus.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Is this reality? Is this an experience or is it just a theory?

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth

Can you see your affections are in the heavenly sanctuary where Jesus is because He’s there with you. You are dead and your life is hidden where? Studying the earthly sanctuary I’m going to learn what He’s doing in heaven because in heaven He was there in Revelation 1:13. You know the scripture well. John sees Him walking among the candlesticks while He was tending the candlestick. What is the candlestick in heaven? Revelation 4. Remember that the candlesticks were in the first apartment of the Hebrew sanctuary. Here is Jesus in the heavenly sanctuary tending the candlesticks. What are they in heaven?

Revelation 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

What happened at Pentecost? When Jesus was there tending the instrument. Another heavenly furniture that Jesus is attending to.

Revelation 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

This angel is none other but Jesus because he is the one who’s tending the heavenly altar. He stood at the altar. What’s Jesus doing there? Offering the prayers of you and me. And incidentally, in your temple, the Holy Spirit is offering the sense with groanings which cannot be uttered. There you have living engagements and what we want to really pick up thoroughly here is that this is a personal experience engagement because when Jesus was walking among the candlesticks, it’s part of that web of this of the system of truth that we’ve got to dig out this precious treasure discovering God’s way.

Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my hand and the seven golden candlesticks, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.

Here on earth and there in heaven, there is a parallel activity. The churches are cared for by Jesus, caring for the seven candlesticks, which are the seven churches. The experience of the seven churches. The seven churches are God’s church in seven periods of time. Follow this personal engagement here. This is not just theory, this is experience of salvation.

Christ is spoken of as walking in the midst of the golden candlesticks. Thus is symbolized His relation to the churches. He is in constant communication with His people. He knows their true state. He observes their order, their piety, their devotion. Although He is high priest and mediator in the sanctuary above, yet He is represented as walking up and down in the midst of His churches on the earth. AA 586.1

There is an internet connection in heaven and on earth. It’s a bit like your laptop here or your computer here connected with the computers of heaven. What Jesus is doing there? He’s doing here. He’s online to you.

He is represented as walking up and down in the midst of His churches on the earth. With untiring wakefulness and unremitting vigilance, He watches to see whether the light of any of His sentinels is burning dim or going out. If the candlesticks were left to mere human care, the flickering flame would languish and die; but He is the true watchman in the Lord’s house, the true warden of the temple courts. His continued care and sustaining grace are the source of life and light. AA 586.1

These words are spoken to the teachers in the church—those entrusted by God with weighty responsibilities. The sweet influences that are to be abundant in the church are bound up with God’s ministers, who are to reveal the love of Christ. The stars of heaven are under His control. He fills them with light. He guides and directs their movements. If He did not do this, they would become fallen stars. So with His ministers. They are but instruments in His hands, and all the good they accomplish is done through His power. Through them His light is to shine forth. AA 586.3

Through them. to reflect to the world. How personal is this? This is experience in the sanctuary. There you get a very clear understanding that the servants of God, the ministers, as I read it here, have the responsibility to communicate heaven to us here on earth. We’ve gone through the seven church periods in our Sabbath school lessons. We arrive in Laodicea, the period of Laodicea. Where does that period start? 1844. As he comes to this date of 1844, what does He say? Because for the first 10 years before 1844, there was Philadelphia which was the preparation for Laodicea, the people of judgment.  He is talking to these people now:

Revelation 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

What’s He talking about? “I, your high priest, that is preparing a place for you, am shifting doors. I’m leaving one place to go to the next.”

If the people who understand the Hebrew sanctuary they know are, once a year the priest went into the most holy place. He opened the veil. He walked in and the veil closed up behind him. Here it is, Jesus. The people who were understanding Jesus as their high priest in the heavenly sanctuary, they came to understand that now was the day of judgment. That’s written In Daniel 7:9 and 10 there is the ancient of days. What happened first? The thrones were put into place. Remembering that the throne of God was in the first apartment and then was moved into the second department because the first apartment had the throne of God at the altar of incense, but it was part of the entire throne and therefore that throne in heaven moves into the most holy place in the judgment.

The Books are Open

The judgment has started and Jesus comes in verse 13 and 14 to the ancient of days. In the clouds of heaven He comes to the ancient of days. I’m opening into the most holy and leaving the holy place to do what has been done there now to continue in the most holy place.

I was shown what did take place in heaven at the close of the prophetic periods in 1844. As Jesus ended His ministration in the holy place and closed the door of that apartment, a great darkness settled upon those who had heard and rejected the message of His coming, and they lost sight of Him. Jesus then clothed Himself with precious garments. Around the bottom of His robe was a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate. A breastplate of curious work was suspended from His shoulders. As He moved, this glittered like diamonds, magnifying letters which looked like names written or engraved upon the breastplate. Upon His head was something which had the appearance of a crown. When fully attired, He was surrounded by angels, and in a flaming chariot He passed within the second veil. EW 251.2

As it’s written there in Daniel. She saw it there. What was the living experience of those who believed? What was their experience? They followed Jesus by faith. They went with Him into the most holy place and they found Him again. The disappointment, they’ve lost sight of Him for a while. They found Him again by an experience, a living reality. Since 1844 through to now, what is happening there in the most holy place?

Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Measure them. This is an experience. We’ve got to understand this. What’s this, measuring them? Measure them. The true, remember the true ministers of God are giving the people the true message and what are the ministers doing? As they give the true message:

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Are these the stars that we read? Of course they are God’s ministers that’s what we read didn’t we? The stars are His ministers.

Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Now what was that? What was that in verse 13? “Unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” That’s the work of the stars. That’s the work of the ministers. “To bring people to the measure of Christ.” And what was happening in Revelation 11 verse 1? Go and measure the people that are in the sanctuary. Measure the temple and those that are with Jesus in the heavenly sanctuary. Measure them. What are they measuring up to? What the ministry has done in their life. Measuring to the measure of the fullness of Christ.

The grand judgment is taking place, and has been going on for some time. Now the Lord says, Measure the temple and the worshipers thereof. Remember when you are walking the streets about your business, God is measuring you; when you are attending your household duties, when you engage in conversation, God is measuring you. Remember that your words and actions are being daguerreotyped [photographed] in the books of heaven, as the face is reproduced by the artist on the polished plate….  7BC 972.1

That’s the only thing she knew at that time. Today are videoed. That’s all she understood in those days. We know better today.

Here is the work going on, measuring the temple and its worshipers to see who will stand in the last day. Those who stand fast shall have an abundant entrance into the kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. When we are doing our work remember there is One that is watching the spirit in which we are doing it. Shall we not bring the Saviour into our everyday lives, into our secular work and domestic duties? Then in the name of God we want to leave behind everything that is not necessary, all gossiping or unprofitable visiting, and present ourselves as servants of the living God (Manuscript 4, 1888). 7BC 972.2

A living experience here. This is what the sanctuary substance is all about. Satan as the scapegoat has to suffer under the sins, and the punishment of the sins, that he caused you to do after they have been taken from you. The message is substance of salvation. Satan hates it and he distorts this message among Christians and moderns. In the future, Sister White saw it, in the future, deception of every kind is to arise. Deception of every kind, and I felt it. We want solid ground for our feet. Where’s the solid ground? We want solid pillars for the building. Not one pin is to be removed from that which the Lord has established. Remember, it’s a great system of truth, not even a pin is to be removed. The future deception and we are under it aren’t we?

“Satan is striving continually to bring in fanciful suppositions in regard to the sanctuary, degrading the wonderful representations of God and the ministry of Christ for our salvation into something that suits the carnal mind. Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, pp. 16, 17. CIHS 16.2

He, now notice what Satan does:

He removes its presiding power from the hearts of believers, and supplies its place with fantastic theories invented to make void the truths of the atonement, and destroy our confidence in the doctrines which we have held sacred since the third angel’s message was first given. Thus he would rob us of our faith in the very message that has made us a separate people, and has given character and power to our work.”—

Brethren sisters, Satan hates it as I read here. He hates it so much he wanted to destroy me because there’s only a few people, ministers of today who really engage in this living doctrine. Very few. Satan wanted me out of the equation. I know what I’m sharing with you is a vital life and death knowledge and we need to have it clear in our experience, not only here. Oh yes, there are independent companies who say Jesus, yes the sanctuary is still there and they still try to hold on to that, but I know it’s only partial.

There are 29 studies that I have discovered in the sanctuary which I’m sharing with souls. They are living truth living experiences and I pray that we will remember the system of truth that has been displayed to God’s people that the stars of the Seventh -Day Adventist Church. The ministers, I love them they are my mentors and today Satan has wish washed the whole thing. I thank God He sustains me and He’s still holding me to be able to share this message and may we embrace it and share it to others, it’s my prayer, Amen.
