The latter rain is imparted and culminates in the proclamation of the loud cry of the third angel. The latter rain was the teacher of righteousness according to righteousness as God worked through the angels. In the first angel’s message we could identify the former rain that prepared the way for the third angel’s message which becomes the latter rain. The people who were under the teaching of the first angel’s message understood the work of justification, sanctification, Christ and His righteousness and the apprenticeship that they entered into being the activity by which they were to gain perfection. Under the direction of the Holy Spirit ultimately they were to receive the finishing touch in the latter rain. That was their graduation. In our previous last studies we have gone through the experiences on this planet, the little season and right through to when the wicked are destroyed. The work of the Holy Spirit is that he imparts things to our inner being. The holy oil to the olive trees, into the pipes and into the candlestick and then from the candle stick to make the lights burning. The church, Gods people can be lights in the world in regards to the pure truth. The Holy Spirit is the teacher of righteousness according to righteousness giving the latter rain that leads the faithful people to be part of Gods kingdom and enter the holy city. This is exactly what the third angels message is empowered to do. As we have studied the messages, we have been taken through the entire picture of Gods outlook right through till after the millennium. We can see the entire picture of the history of the world in its final culmination to the end and now in this study, the completion of it.
