Babylon is the harlot, the woman church that became corrupt and rejected the first angel’s messages that was trying to restore her, the church of Sardis. As we studied the Babylonish title, we beheld that Rome being the mother other harlots with Protestants being the daughters, the USA being the apostate nation and the dragon being paganism. We looked into the new age movement of today which is paganism a new movement of enlightenment. Ever since the three angel’s messages have been proclaimed, we are living since 1844 in an atmosphere that we must be careful we are not going to be covered by. It’s an atmosphere that we must proclaim the three angels messages. When we studied the first angel’s messages, we looked into the subject of who the angels are.

Under the second angel’s message Babylon is always applied to the people or the church having once been faithful becoming corrupt from Noah’s time right through. This message is appropriate for people in modern times as it was way back there. Ancient Babylon was the city that set the stage for all the others to follow. Rome today is still affected by the events of the past and also for the future. Ancient Babylon has affected the world all through history until now.
Their children, along with new converts, came forward and new-modelled the cause. To secure converts, the exalted standard of the Christian faith was lowered, and as the result a pagan flood, flowing into the church, carried with it its customs, practices, and idols.
