Faith Piercing the Darkness

Scripture reading: Psalm 112:4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: [he is] gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

We are living in a time of gross darkness. What is this darkness? It is when we indulge our natural, sinful nature, which we all suffer under to some degree. As we indulge and exercise it, it creates darkness. We see the darkness very heavy around the world because people function according to their natural man. In the darkness we are able to see the light, just as the people who were dwelling in darkness at the time of the first advent saw a great light, and that great light was Jesus – the beautiful character of Jesus that shone in such contrast to the human dilemma that existed even in His time. Worthy to Escape

Jesus spoke and said:

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
