The Power of the Past
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil.
Little children like to ask why. But they are often told to stop asking questions. They never know why and they never know why not. As they grow, why has but one place in their life. Everybody else is doing it so why can’t we? What are you doing? Why are you doing it? This is a good question. We live in a world of over 6 billion people. Over 6 billion brains yet how many use them. How many really stop to think why? To reason from cause to effect. Nobodies taught it anymore. The homes don’t teach it. The schools don’t teach it. You don’t learn it in the work place. The government won’t teach it, parents don’t teach it and neither do the churches teach to reason from cause to effect. To use this machine which sits inside our cranium.
