Understanding God’s Will of Love

Scripture reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
We have a desire to come to a point when sin (which is the breaking of the God’s commandments) would cease and we would come to a point of obedience to all of God’s will. A heart that has fallen in love with God through that beautiful story of the gospel, is indeed hungering and thirsting for a pure and holy life, to do God’s will. That is why we sing those words:
One thing I of the Lord desire,
For all my paths have miry been,
Be it by water or by fire,
O make me clean, O make me clean.
