The Operative Aspect of the Personal Word

God wants us to bask. To bask in what? In the fact that no matter how frail and weak we may be, if we come to Him in contrition and in true dependence upon Him, He is a Father that smiles upon us. He is a Father that wants our salvation and He has given us Jesus to bask in the sunshine of His mercy. We are to drench ourselves with that healing comfort that comes from Him. We are confronted with making these choices that we would be able to live a life in the New Year better than the last year, a life of eternal value. We need to make choices all the time. We are living in the Day of Atonement, in which an investigative judgment is taking place, and the life and death seriousness of that investigative judgment calls for a serious self-examination as it did in the typical Day of Atonement. They were called upon to fast, to examine themselves, to make sure that there was no sin left in their life. That was the symbolic picture for us living since 1844. Now we are called upon to fast and to examine our lives to make sure that for eternity our sins have all been confessed and we have put away our sins not only in confession but also in living reality. How To Enter the Region of Peace

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Our shepherd who wants to cosset us, comfort us in his fold of rest, in his security. One of the results of last day conditions is revealed in the Scriptures.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

26 The Hour of God’s Judgement

This study goes into the detail of what is involved in the hour of God’s judgement. In our previous studies we considered the first angels message because in it the angel preached the everlasting gospel.

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,   7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him;
