The Operative Aspect of the Personal Word

God wants us to bask. To bask in what? In the fact that no matter how frail and weak we may be, if we come to Him in contrition and in true dependence upon Him, He is a Father that smiles upon us. He is a Father that wants our salvation and He has given us Jesus to bask in the sunshine of His mercy. We are to drench ourselves with that healing comfort that comes from Him. We are confronted with making these choices that we would be able to live a life in the New Year better than the last year, a life of eternal value. We need to make choices all the time. How To Enter the Region of Peace

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Our shepherd who wants to cosset us, comfort us in his fold of rest, in his security. One of the results of last day conditions is revealed in the Scriptures.
Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
