9. The Twelve Tribes – Isaachar

This character is a complete turn around from what we have studied.  We have been studying the negative backgrounds but as we study Isachar, here is one character with good qualities. In Issachar’s situation, we see something good come out of something bad.  Who comes out of this situation?

Genesis 30:14 And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son’s mandrakes.
