7. The Power of Godly Thinking
By John Thiel, Let This Mind Be in You Conference, Study 7, mp3
Proverbs 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
We are living in the time of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last moments of earth’s history and as we are under this outpouring, we want to be aware and co-operating with that.
Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they [are] life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

6. Seeing Through Satan’s Glasses
By John Thiel, Let This Mind Be in You Conference, Study 6, mp3
Sin has done something to our human nature and makeup.
The infinite value of the sacrifice required for our redemption reveals the fact that sin is a tremendous evil. Through sin the whole human organism is deranged, the mind is perverted, the imagination corrupted. Sin has degraded the faculties of the soul. Temptations from without find an answering chord within the heart, and the feet turn imperceptibly toward evil. {8T 312.2}
As the sacrifice in our behalf was complete, so our restoration from the defilement of sin is to be complete. There is no act of wickedness that the law will excuse; there is no unrighteousness that will escape its condemnation. The life of Christ was a perfect fulfillment of every precept of the law. He said; “I have kept My Father’s commandments.” John 15:10. His life is our standard of obedience and service. {8T 312.3} Read the rest of this entry
5. Healthy Imagination
By John Thiel, Let This Mind Be in You Conference, Study 5, mp3
We have gained the important appreciation that we need to admit God as the monarch upon the throne of our most holy place in our body temple. That the Shekinah glory should shine forth from within. He needed to be enthroned there. What did we identify was the ensuing exercise thereafter?
4. Healthy Thinking
By John Thiel, Let This Mind Be in You Conference, Study 4, mp3
We are exploring the mind of Jesus. Let this mind be in you. We know in theory we are to have the mind of Christ but when it comes to the mind of Christ in living reality we are all confused. We think we know as intellectually we have accepted the fact but in the frontal lobe it takes some time to get it right as there are so many voices. When we have given the Lord the right to rule in our mind, the monarch of our mind, a battle goes on. We hear so many different voices and we are to discern which voice we are going to listen to. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.
A little child has not developed his brain enough to prevent itself from falling over or making some silly remarks or being expressive of an impulse which is childish but it is nonetheless a perfect child. We need to explore the mind of Christ in regards to healthy thinking. To identify what is healthy thinking in contrast to unhealthy thinking. As he thinketh in his heart so is he. You want to be healthy, perfectly healthy? As you think in your heart that is how healthy you will be. Is this scripturally true in regards to health?
3. The Monarch of Your Mind
By John Thiel, Let This Mind Be in You Conference, Study 3, mp3
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
The hymn ‘Prince of Peace’ conveys the messages of God. We are to not only worship the Lord as the great king of the universe, but to understand that He the monarch of the universe is to be the monarch of our mind, to be a throne therein. He who created us, created us with that very design in mind from the beginning, every creature that He created it is written of; Read the rest of this entry
2. The Human Brain

The relation of the physical organism to the spiritual life is one of the most important branches of education. {COL 348.1}
Our physiological study and its relation to our spiritual life is one of the most important branches of education.
It should receive careful attention in the home and in the school. All need to become acquainted with their physical structure and the laws that control natural life. He who remains in willing ignorance of the laws of his physical being and who violates them through ignorance is sinning against God. All should place themselves in the best possible relation to life and health. Our habits should be brought under the control of a mind that is itself under the control of God. {COL 348.1}
We are honing in on this important, divinely appointed subject.
Those who understand physiology and hygiene will, in their ministerial labor, find it a means whereby they may enlighten others in regard to the proper and intelligent treatment of the physical, mental, and moral powers. Therefore those who are preparing for the ministry should make a diligent study of the human organism. {6T 302.1}
1. A Sound Mind
By John Thiel, Let This Mind Be in You Conference, Study 1, mp3
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Within this verse is couched the theme of this series. Every word is for us to absorb.
Many who profess to be Christians have yet to learn this great lesson. Many know little of what it is to deny self for Christ’s sake. They do not study how they can best glorify God and advance His cause. But it is self, self, how can it be gratified? {TMK 174.3} Read the rest of this entry
