9. The Bundling Experience (Gleaning Time Is Now)

By John Thiel, Facing Last Day Perils Conference, Study 9, mp3

This meditation is in reference to what the angels the reapers, are doing in the time of harvest. It’s really hard for us to visualise what Jesus was teaching when he taught about the harvest and the angels reaping, but we want to try and understand the experience of the bundling.

Matthew 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one]; Read the rest of this entry

6. Harvest of Dissension

By John Thiel, Facing Last Day Perils Conference, Study 6, mp3

As we look at the harvest of this earth we see that whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. What is sown is also reaped. God does not arbitrarily deal with the wicked or with anybody that disobeys Him. It is the consequences of what we have been harboring in our mind, in our heart, that will finally punish us. We get to know God correctly when we study the sowing and the harvest correctly.

Psalm 9:16 The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth:

5. Earth’s Harvest Time

By John Thiel, Facing Last Day Perils Conference, Study 5, mp3

The theme is “Facing Last Day Perils”. What does facing mean? To face up to it, to face the last day perils. The perils are of a nature that you don’t want to face up to. They are of a nature that you want to escape.

You don’t want to see it. You don’t want to experience it. But we are to face them, and in facing them we will be tossed about. The truth, although it becomes beleaguered by the terrible attacks that are upon it, will continue through and we need to attach ourselves to that. We might become battered by the storm, by the floods and by the logs that are knocking us around, but if we hold on to the truth that will carry us through the storm, we will come out safely on the other side.

3. The Relationship Between the Wheat and the Tares

By John Thiel, Relationships in the Last Days Conference, Study 3, mp3

Scripture reading: Matthew 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one]; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

We are before the God of the universe.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  Read the rest of this entry

2. The Shaking

By John Thiel, Third Angel’s Message, study 2, mp3

The shaking, the separating of the wheat and the tares, is part of the third angel’s message and of its work. As we explore the third angel’s message in Revelation 14, let us note in verses 9 and 10, and then 12 and 13, what the third angel is actually doing in his preaching.

Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

The angel is addressing a certain company of people, those who worship the beast and his image and who receive the mark in their forehead. They will receive the wrath of God.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
