The Church Triumphant in Prophecy
By John Thiel, mp3
Previous studies have shown that to be candidates of the church triumphant we need to reach certain qualifications of which these qualifications were enlarged. We also saw the need of submitting to the counsel of men and women of years of experience in the Lord if we will be of such a church. This study concludes this focus with a study of the church triumphant in prophecy. As previously studied, this church is a very difficult one to join and be part of. We tend to be in a time right now that is very perplexing. We live in perplexing times when it comes to identifying God’s church today and recognising such a church. The perplexing detail is expressed in Matthew 24. Jesus is speaking in reference to our time;
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Read the rest of this entry
Membership in the Church Triumphant
By John Thiel, mp3
Ephesians 5:25 Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
The message today is a continuation from last week’s study. We were candidates for the church triumphant. Today we want to go deeper yet. What does it mean to become members of the church triumphant? Our scripture reading describes the work of our saviour to the conclusion of being members of the church triumphant. Jesus loved the church and gave Himself self for it. Why? What did he want to do? He wants to sanctify and cleanse it by the washing of water by the word. Read the rest of this entry
Candidates for the Church Triumphant

Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
One of the subjects that I have been sharing through the conference we had in Africa is what is written in Revelation 12. We read of Gods people under the attack of the enemy and especially since the death of Christ;
Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Although Satan has been overcome, it was written also that there would be woe to this earth but Gods people would overcome him. God’s people would overcome the devil how; by the blood the lamb and by the word of their testimony. To overcome an enemy there needs to be warfare to conquer. The blood of the lamb is an experience, not some sort of voodoo miraculous touch on a person’s mind. It is a battle to fight in which we apply the knowledge we have of Jesus Christ and his shed blood for us conquering together with him. They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony, something to talk about. Read the rest of this entry
7. The Rising of the Church Triumphant
By John Thiel, Light in a Dark Place Seminar, Study 7, mp3
We have scanned prophecy as briefly as possible to be able to grasp the important identifying experiences along the road, to illuminate the dark points of the church and observe how the prophecy actually led God’s people out of that darkness. Again and again Isaiah 8:13-14 was repeated, and all through the generations the same event has been displayed.
Isaiah 8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your fear, and [let] him [be] your dread.
The Requisites to Join the Church Triumphant
By John Thiel, mp3
Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
To become a member of God’s church there is a preparation and an attainment of standards and an agreement with the faith. Then upon profession of faith and baptism there is an acceptance by the church and then we join. But joining that church we are told:
He has a church, but it is the church militant, not the church triumphant. TM 45.
Our studies of the past have shown that the church triumphant is that of the remnant. Read the rest of this entry
The Loud Cry Via the Church Triumphant
By John Thiel, mp3
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. 3. Light in a Dark Place of the Church Militant
By John Thiel, Light in a Dark Place Seminar, Study 3, mp3
Scripture Reading: Zephaniah 3:1 Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!
We are living in dark, trying times for God’s genuine people, and we need God’s word to illume our pathway. The light that shines in a dark place must illuminate our pathway. In our previous study we looked at a personal dark spot, which is our human heart where God brings Jesus into close, inward proximity, so that in the dark place of our heart the light of Jesus, His face, His truth, can shine. In this study we want to examine the dark place in the church militant. This may sound strange. In God’s church? Is there a dark place in the church militant? How does the scripture that we have been quoting relate to the subject of the church militant? Read the rest of this entry
Are you a Candidate for the Church Triumphant or Rich and Increased with Goods?
By John Thiel
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Here are the candidates. If any man open the door I will come in and sup with him. Who will He sup with? Who is to be encouraged here? Not the people who are already self encouraged – I’m part of the church I’m a member of Gods church, I’m increased with goods I have need of nothing. The message to the church of Laodecia is for those living in our time today. God is speaking to the leadership of the church.
Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
The lukewarmness makes God nauseous. The claim is made by his church here:
Jeremiah 7:4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, [are] these. Read the rest of this entry
