An Introduction to the Word of God
I love the story of Jesus and his love. Have you ever heard the story of the love of Jesus? We love it because we have heard it. Those who know it best will be just as hungering to hear it just as those who have never heard it before. That story is found in the word of God. But in the world in which we live, there are many that you can read the story to but to them it is just a story because they don’t appreciate the word of God At times it is highly valuable to examine the word itself in other respects to validate that God’s word is sure. Whatever it is, it’s the truth so when we come to the story of Jesus, we can believe it. We can say yes as everything else is right and then this story is true and I can believe. When the devil comes to me casting his hellish shadow upon me, I can in full confidence open up this book and read of the love of God to me. I would like to present an introduction to the word of God to demonstrate that this is God ’s word. We are to be hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.
A word is an expression of a thought. In the Bible we are reading God’s thoughts. God is the I AM from everlasting to everlasting and if we think we can open up the word of God and read and say yes I know it, the scriptures declare this;
If you think you have heard it before, if you think that you know it, you have not known it as you ought to know it which is why it is always relevant for us to go over the same ground again and again. I’ve always considered going over past light as an upward spiral whereas even though we are covering the same ground we are covering great depths of the light of God. By the counsel of the true witness we do not know as we ought to know. Revelation 3 is speaking to the church of Laodicea. Who is the church of Laodicea? It is us today.
Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
As you went through your week did you say I am rich and increased with goods and don’t need anything? Did you say that? The Bible says you did. The Bible says in your heart right now you are saying that and knowest not that thou aren’t wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. Did you know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked? If you know you are, you are telling lies because the Bible says you don’t know it. The Bible says you do say in your heart I know everything, I don’t need to learn anymore thank you but you do not know as you ought to know it.
Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
When we discover the Bible and the truth for ourselves, we find something that the soul has been longing for. We find something that is reliable and definite. Do we need something definite in this world today? We do. Virtual property that doesn’t exist sells today for the same price as real estate. This world we live in today is unreal. It is mock, it is fake. That which makes produces does not stand the test of time. This word of God we find and we love it. It is the joy and rejoicing of our hearts. As we continue to partake of it sometimes we experience a bit of indigestion as the word of God reaches the point where it cuts across my path and something’s become a little too hard to believe and going too far. We need to remember this is the word of God and where ever it goes it is true.
Jeremiah 20:7 O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.
20:8 For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.
This will be the experience of everyone who will lay hold of the word of God. The world has rejected it and those who would receive God’s word will be rejected.
Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But [his word] was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not [stay].
It brings me too many troubles. It causes my friends to separate form me and my family to look in disgust at me. It causes me to look different to what everyone else looks like. It makes me stand out in the crowd. It is too much for me. I will not make mention of his name. How many people there are who pour water on the fire within their hearts? The conviction that this word of God is true they seek to drench and put it out because it burned within me.
Jeremiah 20:10 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, [say they], and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, [saying], Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
20:14 Cursed [be] the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.
20:15 Cursed [be] the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad.
20:16 And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;
20:17 Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb [to be] always great [with me].
20:18 Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
These are the words of one of the greatest prophets that ever lived. In consequence of the word of God he was thrown in a septic tank, in a miry pit and he was there for a number of days and when they drew him out, the mire had eaten through to his bones. His familiar’s, family and friends thought what has gone wrong with you? You are really weird. It was too hard for this brother yet that word of God burned within him and not matter what the consequences were, he was going to stay true to that word. The experience of Jeremiah in that day is no different to what God’s people will meet very soon. We need to know now that a thus saith the Lord is the only thing that will endure. If I cling on to that and not let it go no matter what, then I will endure no matter what comes my way. I want to come to some simple Bible basics of things when I was discovering God’s word got me excited. They got me wanting and knowing I can trust this. It is my prayer that you will reach that point holding tight on God’s word knowing it is true.
See what God’s word says. Here is a description of society and the church in the last days.
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
Is the spirituality of the world dark today? Is the spirituality of the churches today in gross darkness? What time period is that speaking of? Did you know in this very chapter it tells us the very time in which we are to arise and shine?
Isaiah 60:8 Who [are] these [that] fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
Good question isn’t it? Who are these that fly as a cloud and as a dove to their windows? Isaiah is speaking of the word of the Lord and he is showing in this time of darkness he saw these that fly as a cloud and as doves to their windows. Isaiah saw airplanes. What else can they be? In the time of when man is flying through the sky, this is the time of the end of the world. Planes? What about trains? What about automobiles? Will we find them in the Bible?
Trains, Planes and Automobiles
Naham 2:3 The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men [are] in scarlet: the chariots [shall be] with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.
The day of his preparation? Is that not our day? The Lord is preparing and he will arise mightily and punish the wicked inhabitants of the earth and in that day the chariots will be with flaming torches. Naham could describe it in other way in that which was familiar to him in the best language that he could.
Naham 2:4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.
Think of traffic jostling with each other in the way and raging in the streets. We have no shortage of road rage today and they are jostling one against each other in the broadways. The trains on the railway tracks running like lightening. The word of God contains planes, trains and automobiles.
The Earth Is Round
Another thing the word of God contains is the world. The world today says Christopher Columbus discovered the world was round but the first person officially was Pythagoras in 570BC.
Isaiah 40:22 [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
Before Pythagoras made his discovery the word of God declared the earth was round.
The Life is in the Blood
George Washington died with a Bible next to his bed. A lot of people die with Bibles next to their bed but if George Washington read his Bible properly he probably would have discovered that he didn’t need to die at that time. George Washington was exposed to some extreme weather and with that extreme weather he came down with a throat infection.
Leviticus 17:14 For [it is] the life of all flesh; the blood of it [is] for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh [is] the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
In the old days they had a practise which was called bloodletting. They believed that if man was not well what they would do is bleed blood out of the body. When George Washington got his throat infection he asked his physician to bleed him heavily and they drained 1.7 litres out of him and he died shortly thereafter. In an old medical book they recommended bloodletting for acne, cholera, insanity, indigestion, small pox, tetanus, tuberculosis and more. The word of God says the life is in the blood and man has since made the discovery don’t take the blood out, the body is working to purify the body of the disease.
The earth hangs in space. Many astronomers have been converted by reading the Bible.
Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, [and] hangeth the earth upon nothing.
Is this true? Space is a vacuum and earth sits in nothing.
Job 38:31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
38:32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
The Sweet Influences Of Pleiades
Man has just come to appreciate with the power of telescopes that Pleiades is a family and in that family there are 250 suns travelling together in the same direction. They found nothing else in our solar system that does the same. The sweet influences of the family getting along in unity. Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades or loose the bands of Orion’s belt? Can you lose them? The three stars on Orion’s belt are Mintakam, Alniham and Alnitac. Mintakam and Alniham are approaching each other and Alnitac is proceeding away from the others. Here the word of God identifies their motions. Mazzaroth is an old Jewish word for the constellations and by the constellations we know the seasons and know the time of the year.
Job 38:32 or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
Many of us have seen a depiction of Arcturus verses our sun and that has been estimated as 16 to 28 times as wide as our sun. Arcturus is a massive sun and it is over 100 times powerful than our sun. Can though guide Arcturus with his sons? He has sons. There are 52 stars following Arcturus. Arcturus is described as a runaway sun because it is out of control. It is running at 250 miles per second through the universe. Can you guide Arcturus? He is moving this quickly, can you guide him? The word of God shows us astronomy to the fine details. Even more so a God who can guide a massive sun out of control and says it’s out of control but God knows where it is going. These are little things which were to me were big and are big. As it shows me I can trust the word of God.
Jeremiah 7:17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead [their] dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other God s, that they may provoke me to anger.
To make cakes to the queen of heaven. Do you know what her name is? Ishtar. What time of the year do we make hot cross buns? Easter. Man takes these cakes to the queen of heaven and puts little crosses on them to make them acceptable.
The Christmas Tree
This discovery can undermine the foundations of allot of people today because Christmas is the only thing people have that gives them an experience with Jesus. When I speak to people about Christmas I am careful not to take Christmas out of their experience as for some it is the only time they experience love as man is able to give it.
Jeremiah 10:1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
10:3 For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
Is that not a Christmas tree? Deck it with silver and gold and tinsel. You know how they dangle things of the tree? Do you know where that comes from? The old pagan ritual of hanging people’s heads of the tree.
Jeremiah 10:5 They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good.
You find a Christmas tree in the Bible.
According to the Levitical tradition the Jews were to circumcised on the eighth day. They have only found out in the last thirty years a new born baby has a large bleeding tendency until it produces Vitamin K from 5 to 7 days until it is dealt with naturally. They found on the eighth day there is another clotting element called prothrombin. This is a powerful clotting agent that the body produces and on the eighth day it is the highest level for a whole human’s life. After that day it drops down from being 100% but on that eighth day it is the highest level it will be for the rest of life. God’s word is true, you can rely on it.
Solomon was echoing the wisdom that God gave him.
Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
6:7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
6:8 Provideth her meat in the summer, [and] gathereth her food in the harvest.
The queen gives birth to the babies all day long and the others go about their business working together as a team. Consider her ways and be wise. They knew, Solomon knew through the wisdom that God gave that all the worker ants are female. The word of God is relevant, true, wisdom.
Wisdom from God
Proverbs 21:19 [It is] better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
God says you will be happy in the wilderness than with an angry and contentious woman. How many decide to do that today and decide that’s it can’t do it anymore.
Proverbs 27:15 A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.
You will find the problems and complications of human relations in the word of God. Nag, nag, nag is no different to the gutter dripping continuously. In the old days when thy used to torture people, they would lay them on the ground and would drip water on the head and after a while it became like a hammer hitting the head. Continual dropping on a rainy day is better to dwell in the wilderness than to put up with continual dripping.
Drunk Young Men
Proverbs 23:29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
Those that drink find they have wounds and don’t know how they got them.
23:29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
23:30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
23:31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, [when] it moveth itself aright.
23:32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
23:33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
23:34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
Have you seen a drunkard? Swaying from side to side? Their stability is gone from them.
Proverbs 23:35 They have stricken me, [shalt thou say, and] I was not sick; they have beaten me, [and] I felt [it] not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.
Doesn’t this echo the youth of this generation? I had a lot of fun when I bumped my head and never felt it. I will go drink some more. How many news reports have been where people say I didn’t know I was doing it, I was drunk. The Bible describes the activity of the drunkard down to the babbling. God’s word is something that can be relied upon. These are just few demonstrations of the wisdom that will surpass wisdom of the world and you can rely upon it. If you think you have heard this before and think you know it, remember you don’t know it.
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
If you stop right there, you have a refuge in the Bible as it is not your thoughts. Have you ever got into trouble because of your thoughts? Well thank the Lord the Bible is not my thoughts.
Isaiah 55:9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.
Have you ever sat around a camp fire and looked into the flame flickering? It is like it has a life of its own, a force within and it do’s what it wants to do. I like looking at fire and the word of God as we find the same thing. We find life itself. The word itself will produce the thing itself. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return to me void but it shall accomplish that which I please. It will prosper in the thing which I sent. The word itself is going to produce the thing. When God created the earth he said let there be light and there was light. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made the psalmist declares. In that word is the power to produce itself. Can you do that with your word? Can you speak and it will appear? We can’t. That is why the Bible says let God be true and ever man a liar. God is not a liar as every word he speaks will accomplish the thing. Whatever word he speaks will accomplish. That is why God can’t lie as he is God.
Tyre and the Self Accomplishing Word of God
Ezekiel 26:1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
26:2 Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken [that was] the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, [now] she is laid waste:
When Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem all the trade that was going to Jerusalem was able to come to the city of Tyre or Tyrus. They thought now that Jerusalem was out of the picture we are going to make a lot of money.
Ezekiel 26:3 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD ; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
26:4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.
26:5 It shall be [a place for] the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD : and it shall become a spoil to the nations.
I have spoken it. This is my word that you will be destroyed by many nations.
Ezekiel 26:12 And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.
This is the word of God regarding Tyre. Nebuchadnezzar after conquering Jerusalem came to the city of Tyre and he besieged that city. This city was a very strong city and for thirteen 13 years he besieged that city. While he was besieging that city, the people relocated to an island about half a mile off the coast. In the thirteenth year finally Nebuchadnezzar broke through. But when he did he found the city was empty as they were on an island and he had no navy. All that was of value was taken away and he got angry and had whole the city lain in ruins. It wasn’t too long after that Nebuchadnezzar went and conquered Egypt. We know how God works behind the scenes.
Ezekiel 29:17 And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
29:18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head [was] made bald, and every shoulder [was] peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
God had said I will bring many nations and they will destroy you. Nebuchadnezzar came and the word of God brought him there but he got no payment so God said because you didn’t get paid what was in my plan for Tyre, I will give you Egypt. This is why God gave Nebuchadnezzar Egypt.
Ezekiel 29:19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD ; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
29:20 I have given him the land of Egypt [for] his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
Tyre was relocated and rebuilt on this island. The walls of the city were built sixty metres high. This was a formidable city in 586BC. In 332BC Alexander the great came on the scene and he wanted the city of Tyre so he got the ruins of the old city and he made a land mole out to the island. God said the city would be thrown into the sea so Alexander the Great fulfilled the word. He took the old city and he used that by throwing it into the sea to make a mole. As they were getting close, the Tyreaneans got a big ship and they loaded it with oil and lit it with fire and Alexander had set up built two big towers to protect the workers. In the strong wind the Tyreaneans sent this boat out and they burnt down the towers. Alexander had to widen the mole to put more builders on it and he had to scrape the city bare and cast that into the sea as well. In the old city God completely fulfilled his word against the old city of Tyre. It was scraped bear. The fisherman threw their rocks on it and till today that city has never been rebuilt. What about the new city? That was still the city of Tyre. When Alexander the Great conquered it he razed it to the ground but it was restored somewhat. In 690AD the Muslims invaded the new Tyre and when the Crusaders came they took the city and completely razed it to the ground. The word of God will be fulfilled. It doesn’t matter if it takes ages to do it, it will happen. The word of God is alive, it is true and it is living.
Isaiah 44:28 That saith of Cyrus, [He is] my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
45:1 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
45:3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call [thee] by thy name, [am] the God of Israel.
45:4 For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
45:5 I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else, [there is] no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else.
The story of Cyrus is specifically for us that we may know that his word is true and that he is true. Cyrus was God’s agent in the Medes and the Persians conquering Babylon and we know the story where Cyrus diverted the waters of the Euphrates. Babylon was a gigantic city with walls one hundred metres high and a mote around it nearly as deep. Through that city flowed the river Euphrates. The streets along the river had large walls and the streets that went down to the river were closed off with gates. The Babylonians thought they were impregnable. Cyrus diverted the water so that it dropped. He sent his men through to see if any of the gates will be open and God said I will open the gate for you. In the midst of feasting and revelry the Babylonians were defeated and the Medes and Persians took the rule.
Isaiah 45:4 I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
The story of Cyrus is a fascinating story of how God is working in individual lives to fulfil his word because his word will be fulfilled. This prophecy was made over 100 years before it took place.
The Medes and the Persians
The Persians were slaves to the Medes. The Medes at that time were the next strongest empire after Babylon. Babylon had gotten much of its strength through alliances with the Medes. There was a king named Astyages and he had a daughter called Mandane. He had a dream that water gushed out of his daughter’s womb and flooded the city and then it flooded all of Asia. He called his Magi to him and they interpreted as saying that Mandane would have a child who would conquer all of Asia. Astyages didn’t want that to place so he married her off to a Persian as they were slaves, they were the lower ranks, and he could never become a king as he was out of the kingly system. Soon after she became pregnant and she had a child and when she was pregnant with this child Astyages had another dream and he dreamt that a vine grew out from her womb and covered the city and all of Asia so again the Magi interpreted it as you have to do something. He called for Mandane to be brought to his palace and as she was giving birth, he called his men to slay the child. This child when born was given to a servant by the name of Harpagus. This Harpagus did not want to slay the child so instead he gave it to the cow herd man to slay it instead so the blood wouldn’t be on his hands. This herdsman took this baby to kill it and as he passed by his home he found his wife who was also pregnant had given birth but to a stillborn child. In seeking to console her and her seeking to do what they felt was right, they swapped the children over. The still born child they took out into the wilderness and when the time came, they brought this dead body back and proved that yes, the child is dead. The cowherd’s man and his wife raised this boy. This boy grew up and he had a reputation among his local village folk as being a bit different and noble than the others. One day he and the other children were playing games and they elected him to be king. As king he delegated certain roles and responsibilities. The leader of the army, the engineer to build and various roles were delegated. There was one boy who was the son of a nobleman closely associated with the king. He gave a certain role to the nobleman’s son who refused to play the game, he wasn’t going to do what he was told to do. So this young boy who was asked to be king said if I’m king then I have the right to the punish you and he whipped him. This little boy went running off to his daddy who was in close ranking to Astyages came to him to complain about the cowherds man and his son so he called for them to come. As Astyages saw this child he recognised something familiar about him. He didn’t seem to be the child of a normal cowherd’s man. There was nobility around him. As he questioned him the child simply said they elected me to be king and even that boy that I flogged elected me and he didn’t play the game and he got his just desert. The king recognised that he was the child that he asked to be slain. Through threat of torture he received the story from the cowherd man and Harpagus. The truth was found and this child was given back to the proper parents Mandane and Cambyses. The verse says I have even called thee by thy name. this child was a child of the Medes because Mandane was of the Median line yet his name they called him Cyrus. Cyrus was the name of his grandfather. God orchestrated things to the point where he would even give him his name because if that hadn’t taken place for him to be raised in that manner and returned and preserved that he could return to that family, he never could have had the name Cyrus. Cyrus grew up with the Persians and Harpagus was punished in a very mean manner by the king and Harpagus cherished a continual revengeful spirit and when the time was come, he conspired with Cyrus to take the kingdom and the Medes were conquered by the Persians.
The Greatest Proof
God’s word would be fulfilled and the way in which God fulfils his word is astounding, it is awesome. When your friends want to laugh at you for believing what is in here and when your family wants to give you a hard time and the devil comes and says God doesn’t love you, look at how much of a sinner you are read the story. I do not condemn you over and over again thy sins be forgiven thee. Take God at his word. The greatest proof that you can trust this that no one can gainsay that this word will endure forever and can be trusted no matter what, it is the word of God. No stronger proof will you ever find, none. May the Lord help us to believe that. To believe his word and if we will believe his word we will live by every word that proceeds out of his mouth. People can say what they want. God’s word requires me to do certain things but I have received that word and it has produced something and when people have a problem with it, well I didn’t do it, it wasn’t me, it was the word of God and if you have a problem you can take it up with God. May the Lord help us to love this word. If you think you know it you don’t know it as you ought to know it.
