Cut Out Without Hands

Audio: 144,000 Overcomers Cut Out Without Hands

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

It is written that we shouldn’t occupy our minds with who will comprise the 144,000 and we shouldn’t worry about which person or which group of people are going to be part of that number but it is also written that we should strive to be among that number. Who is it that hears the covenant of peace before Jesus comes? The 144,000. I’d like to consider the experience of the 144,000 as I believe it is beneficial for us to identify their experience. As we identify their experience we can consider our own experience and we can see if we are striving to be among that people or not. This is the vision that Nebuchadnezzar had that he couldn’t interpret.  Daniel had been shown the vision by God and he tells the king what he saw. The king saw the statue with the head of gold, the chest of silver, the waist of brass, the legs or iron and the feet mixed with iron and clay.

Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet [that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Daniel does not just tell him his dream but he interprets his dream also. The interpretation in the same chapter.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream [is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

What was God going to do in the days of the kings of the iron and the clay? He was going to set up a kingdom because the dream is very simple in that it shows which kingdom dominated the world at different points of history. As these kingdoms that dominated this planet came through their successive revelations, there came a time where there was no dominating power in the world and in those days God is going to set up a kingdom to dominate the world. A kingdom needs a king. Can you have only a king? You need subjects, a city and a territory. All this was to be set up in the days of these kings. The king, the city and subjects and also the ministry of the king will also be set up in those days. This is what God had prophesied was going to happen. The king his ministers, the subjects of the kingdom, his ministry and the subjects and the kingdom which in he would rule was going to be set up.

Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire. 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. 13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed.

Is that what the stone was talking about? In the days of these kings? The prophet says you saw until there was a stone cut out without hands. The language is I beheld till the thrones were cast up which means set up. If you have a stack of chairs and you wanted to put them out, you put them down so people can sit on them. This is what took place. A judgement was set and in this judgement scene there was a transition of God to a new apartment, a new section of heaven. I looked and the Son of man came before him, was brought in. We see activity going on in heaven in the days of these kings that required another part of heaven to be occupied. This judgement will sit.

Ten Horns

Daniel 7:20 And of the ten horns that [were] in his head, and [of] the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even [of] that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look [was] more stout than his fellows. 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

Is this the same language?

Daniel 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy [it] unto the end. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. 28 Hitherto [is] the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

We see that there was a time period that had to happen before the judgement happened in the days of these kings. The days of these kings in the ten toes is a large period of time. But here it says that this beast, this horn shall have power to wear out the saints for a time and a dividing of time. A time is a year in prophetic understanding and times is plural. What is plural? Two at least. We have three prophetic years. In Jewish understanding there were 360 days in one year. Therefore there was 1260 days of papal persecution which in turn represented years. When that shall finish then the judgement will come and the papacy persecuted the Christians for 1260 years until the pope was taken captive in 1798.

Daniel 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy [it] unto the end.

After 1798 there was a judgement that was to sit and when we look at the history of the millerite movement in 1833 what was proclaimed? Fear God and give him the glory for the hour of his judgment has come. As they show the prophetic understandings, the date lay in 1844. Therefore from 1844 the kingdom shall be set up. This is when God is going to establish his rulership that will cover the whole earth. What was the manifestation of this kingdom in the earth? Here is the manifestation of this kingdom.

Daniel 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

We have a stone cut out without hands and this happened in the days of these kings namely in 1844. That is when it started. As the prophet saw this stone, as he was relaying it to the king, he beheld that stone and it travelled through time and destroyed this world and became a mountain that filled the whole earth. Then it became manifest as the ruling power of the world. Before Babylon fell did Medo Persia exist as a kingdom? Absolutely they did. There was a transition. The kingdom was there and there was a time period in which that kingdom overtook the other one. Did Greece exist as a kingdom before Medo Persia had finished its rule? Absolutely. The kingdom dwelt there until it conquered the whole world. As Greece, did Rome exist as a kingdom before it took over the world? It did. The same story happens again. Does the kingdom of God start before the finishing of the kingdoms of this world? It does. It takes its time and manifests itself in a mountain, that’s how it manifests itself. It is written that the kingdom of God doesn’t come with observation. Is that true?

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

What did he see? The lamb. Is he the king? Here is the king standing upon a mountain and with him are 144,000. Are the people that are with him, are they the ones that destroy the kingdom of this world? Are they the ones? Is this description of Revelation 14 with the lamb standing is that what was originally the rock that came and smote the image?

Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

This is the same as what Daniel saw.

Revelation 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of Lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him [are] called, and chosen, and faithful.

The lamb and those that are with him destroy the ten kingdoms of this world. Yay more, they destroy the whole world and those that are with him, how many were there? 144,000. These are the people that represent the stone because it is written that the kingdom shall be given to the saints. We see from 1844 the kingdom of heaven was set up and it was set up in order to take possession of the whole planet. That is why it was set up. Some may say the kingdom of heaven has been before 1844 as Jesus preached the kingdom of heaven is at hand. This setting up of the kingdom doesn’t mean that it wasn’t at hand in Jesus day. We will see from ages past this kingdom has been the consideration of the saints of God from the time of Adam and Eve to the last saint that is sealed in their forehead. It is speaking of those that came from the loin of Abraham.

Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them], and embraced [them], and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that [country] from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better [country], that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

God promised to the patriarchs of old the kingdom that was going to encompass the whole world. Did they receive the kingdom there? No. As much as Israel would desire that they ruled the world, it wasn’t given. It was a promise that the patriarchs, those of faith saw a far off. It was a long way off before the consolidating of this kingdom was going to take place yet they believed in it and became part of it.

Hebrews 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of [cruel] mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and [in] mountains, and [in] dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

God made a promise to the patriarchs of old that he was going to give them the kingdom of this world but they died not receiving the promise. Why? Because he was waiting for those last people at the end as they were not going to be made perfect without us. Because of that these men suffered under the kingdoms of this world. Babylon captured Israel and Medo Persia made a decree that all Jews should be killed. Greece tortured men and women in Judea. Rome killed the first born, the children under the age of two.

That was all allowed to happen and more than that the saints were given 1260 years of absolute suffering so you and I can be part of this rock. He was waiting for you and me. If he wasn’t waiting he would smash this world and the kingdoms that tortured Gods people. The daily abomination that makes desolate, the transgression that makes desolate. These two things were desolating powers. You can read in Daniel 8 the story of how the host was trodden under foot and even the prince even the prince of the host was given into his hands our Lord Jesus Christ. One saint was speaking to another saint and said how long is this going to happen for? How long shall the vision concerning the daily making desolate? How long? The Lord said 2300 days and then shall I set up my kingdom.

We are going to start the judgement as the world is going to lose its power bit by bit until there is no more place found for the wicked of this world. Those that are with him could be you and me. We shouldn’t worry who is going to be among the 144,000 but we should strive ourselves to be among that people. The promise that God would set up a kingdom was confirmed and made a fact when Jesus Christ came to this earth. He confirmed the covenant with many for one week. In the midst of the week he died. The covenant that God made with the fathers of old was that they would be part of the kingdom of heaven. Not a Jewish nation that is going to bash that the Palestinians over the head, what a load of garbage. He is going to set a kingdom up that is going to rule the whole earth and those that are going to be part of it must be faithful. What does it mean to be faithful? You have to be full of faith. There is no other way to be part of that kingdom. The scripture says flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven. If you were born a Jew you need to die to the flesh and have faith in Jesus Christ like every other patriarch of old. He confirmed this covenant with many for one week.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Why will you have tribulation in this world? Because there are still kingdoms that don’t want God. In this world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer, he confirmed the covenant. This hinges the building up of this kingdom.

John 18:33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? 34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? 35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? 36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault [at all].

There was no fault with Jesus. He was the king of the Jews and he declared emphatically that my kingdom is not of this world. If it were of this world I would fight. Did Jesus create a revolt against the legs of iron? Did he overthrow it and smash it into pieces? No but he says I have overcome the world. We should consider this more in depth in the experience of the 144,000 in relation to this image. Jesus is the king and that for this cause he came into the world. Why did Jesus come into the world? That he could he be the king of this kingdom. If he didn’t, could he be the king of this kingdom? The king came and was born in Bethlehem and through his life he overcame the world and all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life and he was declared by the king of this earth without fault and so he was. The king of this kingdom came and thus it was preached, the kingdom of God was at hand. This kingdom wasn’t going to be set up or established until 1844. That is what the scripture says. He had given his kingdom to the Jews at the time and as he gave it to the Jews, what did they do with it?

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

You hypocrites and religious leaders thinking that the kingdom of heaven is coming with observation and who say because we are the kingdom, don’t go to the rabbi Christ. He is a fanatic he is pulling away from the kingdom of the Jews. So it was in the council meeting that they said it is better that one man die than the whole nation die. They forgot the person who they killed was the king of the kingdom. Hence their nation died. So it is of a truth that we have been admonished to preach the kingdom to all the world and then the end will come.

To Preach the Gospel of The Kingdom

Like the Jews of old we stop people from hearing the kingdom because we want us to be the holders of the kingdom and by attracting the people to us we inadvertently stop them from going to Christ. It is written that the head of every man is Christ because he is the king but the world will have it different. They imply the head of every man is your local government, the president, the General Conference. The head of every man is Christ and if we are to preach other gospel of the kingdom we are to show people their king. That is what Pilate did and they said away with him we have no king but Cesar. That was an abomination – his blood be upon us and our children and so it was. But the kingdom of heaven still went on. Of Gods kingdom it is written it shall not be given to another people. Isn’t the church the keys of the kingdom of heaven? How long was Israel the depository of the kingdom of heaven? How many years? 1900 years when Abraham gave birth to Isaac. They were the depositories of the kingdom of heaven and then it says I will not give my kingdom to another people. So it is written that the Lord will always shave a chosen people.

As the light and life of men was rejected by the ecclesiastical authorities in the days of Christ, so it has been rejected in every succeeding generation. Again and again the history of Christ’s withdrawal from Judea has been repeated. {DA 232.2}

The Lord Jesus will always have a chosen people to serve Him. When the Jewish people rejected Christ, the Prince of life, He took from them the kingdom of God and gave it unto the Gentiles. God will continue to work on this principle with every branch of His work. When a church proves unfaithful to the word of the Lord, whatever their position may be, however high and sacred their calling, the Lord can no longer work with them. Others are then chosen to bear important responsibilities. But, if these in turn do not purify their lives from every wrong action, if they do not establish pure and holy principles in all their borders, then the Lord will grievously afflict and humble them and, unless they repent, will remove them from their place and make them a reproach. . . . {UL 131.3}

He took the kingdom and he gave it to gentiles and then the church of the Apostolic time. But as the generation went on the new coverts and the children of the apostles remodelled the cause and the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, Balaam and Jezebel came in and then he took the kingdom and gave it to someone else and they in turn did the same and he took it away as he is not giving sinful man his kingdom as he did to Israel. No church will ever have supremacy for over 1000 years as it will be taken from them. Only the faithful those who are with him are called, chosen and faithful. Therefore the kingdom of God travels with the faithful and that faithful was not cut out with hands, it was cut out without hands.

Do you ever scratch your head and ask why there are so many churches today? I will tell you why. This principle of Christ taking the kingdom of God and giving it to another has been repeated in every generation. How many generations have we lived in? That’s why we have so many churches. Who were the faithful in the days of the ecclesiastical authority of the Jews? Who were the faithful ones? Such a little group of poor fishermen, they didn’t have degrees, they weren’t educated. They were rough people who probably didn’t even wear deodorant and God walked upon the Sea of Galilee and called these rough men and as he called them they left everything and came and then he says of these people have I not chosen you twelve? He called them and they were obedient to the call and he chose them and then they were faithful. It was written after the day of Pentecost that many were steadfast in the apostle’s doctrine. That is faithfulness, they were faithful. Those who responded to the call became chosen and were faithful in the apostolic church.

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Have the gates of hell ever prevailed against a man organised denomination? Absolutely. It has become the big beast of this world. That is what it became. It became the cruellest of all kingdoms. So is the scripture true? Upon which rock? The rock Christ Jesus he will build his church. I saw a stone, a rock cut out without hands and it destroyed this world and it became a mountain and those that were with him. How many were there? There were 144,000 faithful people when Christ comes. That’s all. 144,000 and because Christ is this rock it is says;

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

How do you become 144,000? You must be born again. Marvel not, you must be born again. That’s it. You must be born again. Flesh and blood does not inherit the kingdom of heaven. That which is flesh is flesh but that which is spirit, is spirit and overcomes the world. Why is it overcoming the world is so important to those who are born again?

Proverbs 16:32 [He that is] slow to anger [is] better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

There are many men in this world that admire Cyrus and Alexander the Great, Julius Cesar or Nero. What mighty strong men but he that ruleth his spirit is mightier than these that take the cities of this world. The only way you can overcome the world is if you overcome yourself. Here is a picture of ecclesiastical history from the time that Christ established his church to the consummation. Right here is a picture of ecclesiastical history and he writes to him that overcometh in the first period. He that overcometh will I give to sit on my throne.

Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

He that overcomes the world is born of God. The rock overcomes the world. Do we understand how to be part of this? He that ruleth his spirit.

Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].

Revelation 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

This is part of Gods church. These people, the overcomers.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new name.

They were part of the ministry. The Philadelphian people would become ministers or part of the ministry in heaven. I will make him a pillar. The 144,000 have what written on their forehead? The father’s name. Here we have the time in which the 144,000 was to commence in the Philadelphian period. In that period were those that said fear God for the hour of his judgement is come. I lay before you can open door and no man shuts it. There was an activity in heaven of moving into an open apartment. The ancient of days sat there and the heavenly host were around him and one came in the advocate, our barrister Jesus Christ came in before him and the books were opened. The people that overcome in this period will become pillars in the temple and then the poor old Laodicean’s, the people of the judgement.

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Jesus Christ overcame and the people right at the end are to overcome as he did exactly the same and to them they will sit on the throne with him as Jesus sat on the throne. So it is written that the kingdom will be given to the saints of the most high. You will sit on a throne you are a ruler. The 144,000 are the ministry of the new kingdom. Those that receive the promise from the past, those that have been attentive to the preaching of the kingdom of God is at hand, are all part of the subjects of the kingdom of heaven. The dominion of this kingdom is this planet and the capital city is the New Jerusalem. The 144,000 are the ministers in this kingdom.

Luke 19:11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

Here is Jesus the king of this new kingdom and the people thought it is about to be consolidated and set up and Jesus knew it wasn’t as it was to be set up in the days of these kings. Namely the broken world as we have it today from 1844. Because people in his day thought it was about to start, he had to speak this to them.

Luke 19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

This is gospel truth. Daniel 2 is gospel truth. He will receive a kingdom and return.

Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Here are some gifts, I want you to get busy till I come and so it has been. Haven’t the churches been busy? Hasn’t it been that they are to go to the world and preach the gospel. All churches claim to do that work. So he said occupy till I come.

Luke 19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this [man] to reign over us.

Thus it is written.

Isaiah 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

To be comforted by our own works, let us only be called Christian. We don’t want you to rule over us. Consider this, if you don’t want Jesus to rule over you he will rule over you. We have an opportunity to be ruled with the shepherd’s staff but it is written he will rule the nations with the rod of iron. Which one do you want? Do you want the rod of iron of the shepherd’s staff? The 144,000 will be led by him and they will hunger no more. They shall lie down and he will be in the midst of them but the citizens hated him. We don’t want him to be our king, we want our own king. We don’t want God to be our king, we want Saul. We want a king like all the other nations. We want to have a president. Christ is the head of every man.

Luke 19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. 16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. 17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

When he comes who are alive? How many living saints are there to behold him in the clouds? 144,000. He is going to say, what have you done with the gifts I have given you? The talents of time and money, what have you done? Lord I have done this. He will say to those people be rulers over ten cities.

Luke 19:18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. 19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. 20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, [here is] thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: 21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. 22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, [thou] wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: 23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? 24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give [it] to him that hath ten pounds. 25 (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.) 26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. 27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me.

Here is a picture of the end times. In this picture is shown the class of Gods faithful people and the class of Christendom. He gave talents and one man didn’t use them. What did he do with them? He bound it in a napkin. The Lord gave him talents and he wrapped it up for self-use, there was no trading. Has he used it to himself? He lost his eternal life. But for those who would not have this king to rule over them they were utterly slain. This experience is the experience of the 144,000 in the end. Would you want to be among that people? Would you strive to be among that people? Because here are the people on that mount Zion. Do you want to see more detail of Revelation 14:1 of that rock cut out without hands?

That Rock That Smote the Mountain

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.

Here we have a zoomed in picture on this mountain. You have come to this great mountain and as you come to it what is there? The city of the living God. What is in there? An innumerable company of angels. What is around the angels that they are singing and glorifying over? The general assembly, the church of the first born, those that Christ took as first fruits. Those 24 elders that were redeemed from among men. The 144,000 are also first fruits as they are the first ones to be harvested form the world living. You have come to the church of the first born and inside this church it is surrounding God.

Come in closer and what is inside the throne? The spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus inside them the mediator of the new covenant. What is inside Jesus? The blood of sprinkling. That is the detail of this rock that will smash this earth. It is not just the 144,000 it is the whole kingdom that will be given to the 144,000 to rule with Jesus and God on the throne. Inside of the just men made perfect, who is in the middle? Jesus. Revelation 7 is the description of the 144,000 and then contrasted with the great multitude and then from verse 13 the question comes back to the 144,000. Mark that and make sure you don’t make a mistake and confuse the two groups.

Revelation 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Would you like a great king to be among you to be your king and for him to rule you? Then you must strive and place yourself in submission to this king and overcome the world that lies within you.

Amen.
