Christ Crucified Among You Part 1

Walking in the Light of 1888 Conference, Study 4, Audio: mp3

Psalms 139:4 For [there is] not a word in my tongue, [but], lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. 5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. 6 [Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it. 7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou [art] there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou [art there]. 9 [If] I take the wings of the morning, [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

There is a great amount of knowledge in the infinite God that is too much for us. The concepts of eternity that God is outside of the bounds of space. He is outside of the bounds of time and although he is in this vast enormous occupation he knows your thoughts and such knowledge is too wonderful for us. I find great difficulty trying to understand or even look at it.

The Spirit

Where can I go where your presence isn’t? Where ever I go you are there. The omniscience and omnipresence of God for our finite minds to understand it is too wonderful. In our study we need the help of the Holy Spirit as we are considering a topic that encompasses or touches on this part of God that is without time. There is no time binding our God. There is a little truth and it’s actually a big truth that was embedded into my mind when I was a young age. It was through a song I heard when we were living in Papua New Guinea. That song resounds within me, the words and the tune is part of my childhood. This tune is talking about the way to heaven. It is about the way to heaven that Jesus is the only way. It goes like this;

There’s only way, one way to heaven there is only one way, that way is Jesus. By giving his life though tempted not sinned.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

There is only one way to heaven. That needs to get right into our being because for thousands of years men have devised another way. They have devised different ways how to get to heaven. Those ways are the ways of death. There is only one way to heaven. But why do you want to go to heaven? What is the point of a place that you don’t want to go to? We are considering this way to heaven. This way is only valuable to us if we have felt the hell on earth. Because if you were sitting on some prickles you would want to move. Correct? If you were sitting on a cushion why would you move?

The law entered that sin would abound. That the curse of the law would prick your flesh and that you would be condemned, that you would feel the wretchedness of your life. When you feel that wretchedness of your life then perhaps you will be interested in the way to heaven. Because a way is only valuable if you want to move from where you are?

This way has a landscape to it. Some of you might have a favourite part of your city that you like to drive as the way is quite nice because of the terrain, landmarks and characteristics whether its ocean or forest, those things along the way make it valuable to you. This way that goes to heaven, Jesus is that way but its way hasn’t changed at all. This way is the unchangeable way.

The Unchangeable Way

Hebrews 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of [their] conversation. 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

The same forever. This way the bible is saying, consider these preachers that have gone before. These people, follow their faith. The apostle Paul being new in the early church is referring to the Old Testament. Their line up of faith, the patriarchs and prophets travelled the way.  We are to consider their way and this way is the same, yesterday today and forever, it doesn’t change. There are some interesting parallels that we can get from this. For a way to be the same way that the patriarchs and prophets travelled, you have to pass the same things, terrain and same end. If the land marks are different you are not going in the same way. If this way has never changed, that means that those trees and landmarks that characterise the way have been the same from the time of Adam to the time today.  If you want to go the way Abraham went you must pass the things that Abraham passed or you are out of the way. Not just the same things but you have to get to the same place because if you don’t get to the same place it’s not the same way.  These two characteristics, the landmarks must be the same and the end must be the same. Follow their faith considering the end of their conversation where they end up in their life. We need to understand the landmarks on the way to heaven.

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me. 33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.

Here is a landmark that is to be put up and note the bible says all men will be drawn to this landmark and the landmark was that which signified his death which is the cross of Jesus Christ. This cross of Jesus Christ stands at the head of the way. It is the beginning of the first landmark you see on the way to heaven.

The cross stands where two roads diverge. One is the path of obedience leading to heaven. The other leads into the broad road, where man can easily go with his burden of sin and corruption, but it leads to perdition (MS 50, 1898). {5BC 1095.10}

The cross of Jesus Christ stands where two roads diverge. Note this, it is the landmark for both roads. As we desire as Christians or as any human in fact, everyone desires life, you can prove it because if you strangle someone and they will want you to stop strangling them as they want to live. Everyone wants to live. Everyone has this desire. What man is he that desires life that seeketh many days?

Whether you are Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, you just want to live. Everyone wants to live life but no one is happy where they are. Everyone have a prickle in their seat and they want to move. Everyone wants to get something more. Without a vision the people perish. The whole world is moving, travelling along this freeway. Along the freeway is the cross of Christ and it is where the roads diverge. He is the major billboard of the planet. Everyone will pass it. As they see the cross of Christ it creates different reactions. Some may see the cross of Christ and will think that is an historical landmark as it happened 2000 years ago.

Some may scorn it and say that is execution, heathenism. Some will be touched and some will say I heard this man died for my sins and they will be amazed. Those who are Christians will respond to that landmark in a positive way. They see that cross and they look at that man dying there and think wow, I haven’t seen that before. They are told he died for your sins and they say wow that’s good and they keep travelling as I’m a Christian but they haven’t entered the little path. They pass the cross of Christ but they don’t’ go through it. Where the two roads diverge, is a major path. You have to climb upon that cross be crucified yourself, die and keep going. That’s how you get to heaven. People don’t see that cross is the place to go. They see it as amazing, he did something for me so I’m told and they pass on. We are told that peace, comes through the blood of this cross.

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.

The Cross

Jesus Christ is on the cross and he is saying something.

Lamentations 1:12 [Is it] nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted [me] in the day of his fierce anger. 13 From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate [and] faint all the day. 14 The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, [and] come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me into [their] hands, [from whom] I am not able to rise up.

Here Jesus Christ is on the cross and this major highway is going past and says is it nothing to you all you that pass by? Behold and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow. Some may say, yeah but how can this Jewish carpenter in Jerusalem in 33AD know what I’m going through in Australia in 2010? He never had a problem with his IPhone, he never had a problem with his car or got the sack from his big high job. He doesn’t understand what I’m going through. It’s a historical landmark, it happened in AD33. Jesus is saying is it nothing to you?

Some may stand there and admirer and say yeah wow, that has really affected me. But is it something to them? Are they crucified with Christ? Is it nothing to you all ye that pass by? This cross is what stands at the head of the way to heaven. So many people see the cross from an external because the cross of Christ according to 1 Corinthians is foolishness to some;

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

No wonder the apostle determined not to know anything among anyone save Jesus Christ and him crucified as that is the power of God. That power of God is not just in passing by it, it is going through it because the Galatians under the ministry of Paul were preaching the cross of Christ from the Old Testament. To these Galatians the cross of Christ was evidently set before them as crucified among them.

There are people who instead of going through the cross they go by it. They see it as a historical event. They take the shadow of it and hang it off their ear, neck and in the church and stick it everywhere but they haven’t gone through the cross of Christ. They are taking the shadow and leaving the reality behind. Jesus is to be crucified among us in order that we may go to heaven.

If you have seen the cross of Christ how do you know that you haven’t just passed by thinking now you are a Christian. We have to have the experience of going through the cross of Christ, through the blood of the cross. If we don’t, we will then hold onto the shadow, the symbols and crucifixes. When people are hanging onto the shadow they haven’t got the reality.

If you have a picture of your wife it means she is not home. If she is home why would you look at the picture? You would experience your wife in three dimensions not two. If we are hanging on to the crucifix or the images, we are testifying to the world that Christ hasn’t been crucified among us but if we can have the experience we don’t need any pictures. This way was the same in the past, and it is the same today and the word today that the apostle used was in the time of Jesus crucifixion and in the future, forever which is today as we are in the writing of this.

Those who went before Christ had to enter in and pass the same landmark that we today have to pass through in order to get to the same end in which they got through. Jesus Christ to many Christians has been just a New Testament thing but in fact it is Old Testament.

Christ in the time of Adam

In the creation story, God made man as the crowning act of creation. As he made man the crowning act of creation he was the king.

Hebrews 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: 8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing [that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Adam and Eve took the fruit and they sinned. He had transgressed, he had the prickles now but we see the way. At creation when the prickles came, the way was there. When sin abounded, grace did much more abound. How did they see him?

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

That’s what Adam saw. He saw the cross of Jesus Christ in reality. As Adam sinned he was crowned with glory and honour and then he sinned and then we see Jesus.

Moses

We need the bible to draw this picture for us as it’s too high for me. As the bible draws the picture we can see it for ourselves.

Hebrews 11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

Moses valued the cross of Christ. How can you value you haven’t seen? How can you value something you haven’t been through? Moses experienced the cross of Jesus Christ and in that experience he esteemed that suffering as greater riches than the kingdom of the whole world at that time. He entered off the highway through the cross. He passed that landmark. Adam passed it, Moses passed it.

Jacob

Jacob was pleading and he took a rock as a pillow and he dreamed;

Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I [am] the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; 14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 15 And, behold, I [am] with thee, and will keep thee in all [places] whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done [that] which I have spoken to thee of. 16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew [it] not. 17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful [is] this place! this [is] none other but the house of God, and this [is] the gate of heaven.

He saw that landmark. That ladder that came down and was on the earth and he was afraid. What was so scary about a ladder on the ground? He saw Jesus crucified. We know that because Jesus says to his disciples;

John 1:50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

What the disciples saw is what Jacob saw. The disciples experienced the cross of Christ. Jesus Christ in this ladder and there was an ascending and descending experience. We find here that the gospel was preached to them and the gospel is the power of God unto the salvation which is the cross of Christ which is the power of God. Moses and Adam saw it. They didn’t just see it, they experienced it.

Abraham

Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. 9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here [am] I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son] from me. 15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son]: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

We read that his seed is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ as much as the children were partakers of flesh and blood, he Jesus took part of the same. That he may deliver them who all their lifetimes where subject to bondage. He destroyed him that had the power of death that is the devil. He took the gates of the enemy and let the captives go at the cross of Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross, the graves were opened and there was a resurrection at the cross of Christ. When he ascended to heaven, he took the captives with him to heaven. He took the gates of the enemy. Abraham had this confirmed by an oath by God. When God swore by himself, that thing is done.

He confirmed it then and there with an oath with Abraham as it says in John 8;

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad. 57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

The same yesterday, today and forever. Before Abraham was he was the crucified one for Adam, Noah, Jacob, Moses, Abraham, before Abraham was I AM – present tense. How did Abraham get to see Christ’s day? Abraham and God made a covenant together and God made the promises and Abraham said amen. We see again the cross of Christ. He has redeemed us from the prickles.

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

The experience that the Galatians made, Christ crucified among them, was a result of them believing the way Abraham believed. The blessing Abraham got, the church in Galatians got. The blessing that Abraham got, you and I can have today. How? That we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. Abraham and the inheritance and the spirit of promise;

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The Earnest

Here this word earnest is when two people make a contract and before it comes to full fruition there has to be a bond laid down to secure the truth of it. Many of you may realise it when you go and sign a contract to rent a house, you have to put a bond down in case you don’t keep your promise of looking after the place.

God made the promise and he made it with an oath. Two immutable things which is impossible for God to lie. He put down the bond with the Holy Spirit. He gave Abraham the Holy Spirit and that when he believed at the first. The gift of the Holy Spirit came on Abraham just as much as it came on the church in Pentecost. He received the Holy Spirit but notice what comes with the Holy Spirit. We need to allow the bible to tell us the story. This is talking about the power of God the cross of Christ.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Through whom was Christ crucified? He offered himself through the eternal spirit and that eternal spirit has no boundary of time so he takes of Jesus and he travels back to the day of Abraham and he displays the cross of Christ in reality. This Holy Spirit is promised to those who believe. When we have the Holy Spirit we can have Christ crucified among us.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

We often read this as the mansions in heaven having great chandeliers and golden paths and jasper on the walls. But what was prepared? The foundation of the cross of Christ was done at the foundation of the world. It hasn’t entered as a reality yet. If we are carrying a crucifix we haven’t had what God has prepared for us. If we are looking in the shadow of things we haven’t looked at that spirit. God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit. The spirit searcheth all things, yeah the deep things of God. The spirit took the pain and trauma and all that was in the heart of Jesus and has revealed it to those who believe.

Not just watching the movie of it, not just listening to the story of it, but watching, listening and feeling. Our entertainment hasn’t gotten that far yet. The Holy Spirit shows the experience. Our world is so short. Why would we be in engrossed in such sad entertainment? With God there are pleasures for ever more. The word Eden is the word pleasures. To be in the garden of pleasure. The Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ was crucified through the eternal spirit and that spirit was given to us of revealing the deep things of God’s reality. For me to come and share and preach doesn’t suffice unless the Holy Spirit be in you. It is not a theory it is an experience.

1 Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

These free gifts are to be understood by the spirit of God and the spirit alone.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, (which is a bond laid down at the beginning of a contract, this is the one that is given when we believe) is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

He can show you the future and the past.

John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show [it] unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show [it] unto you.

All things that are the fathers, all of heaven, everything is Jesus. The Holy Spirit takes of Jesus that is everything and shows it to us. Not in shadow, not with a veil over our face just looking at an image but in realness. When we consider the time of Noah, the antediluvian world. The Holy Spirit of promise is what takes the realness of the cross and transfers it without time barrier and plays it out to people.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Only once has he suffered for sin. This cross of Christ, this suffering of that once, the just for the unjust, that tasted death for every man was taken and was taken to the time that was Noah was preaching and shown to the antediluvian world. Christ was crucified to the antediluvian world.

Noah

Noah was a preacher of righteousness by faith. He found grace in the sight of the Lord the grace that is the New Testament. When Noah was preaching he preached Christ and him crucified and they rejected it. As in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the son of man be. It is the same message and same result for disbelief and it is the same result for belief as they went past the same waymarks. The cross of Christ is at the head of the way not to pass by it but to go through it. This is a very huge subject and I’ve had difficulty getting an understanding. The poor brain cells have no chance really. We are going to look at this preaching that was past in the antediluvian world in the time of the Old Testament, in the time of 2010.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

What does that tell us? Jesus Christ was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. More than this, not just the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The Book of Life

Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

What was from the foundation of the world? The lamb that was slain and the book of life was also at the foundation of the world. What does a book hold inside it? Information. Not just names but information. What information was contained at the foundation of the world?

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

We were chosen in Jesus Christ before the foundation of the world. How is that possible? We must remember that God and his goings forth have been of old from the days of eternity. Here find in Revelation this book of life is opened when the wicked are judged. This book of life has information in it.

Psalms 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, [and] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all [my members] were written, [which] in continuance were fashioned, when [as yet there was] none of them.

In the lambs book of life is the information on growing the baby. As the baby was growing in the womb, the substance, it was in the book already. The record is not just of the name but of the character, person and feature. God had a record in his book in the lamb of you and me in 2010.

Some people think that’s predestination and I’m a robot now. I can’t do anything of myself as I’m programmed now. When you don’t understand or know then you are free to choose as I like. If I have two things in my hands and I ask you to take a pick. You have a choice. I know what you are going to pick I know, but you still have a choice. Have I taken away your choice? Which hand do you want? But do you still have a choice? Absolutely. God’s pre knowledge doesn’t stop your choice. God has a pre-knowledge of our members, of our information written there.

Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Here we have him who is the I AM. When Abraham was I am. When Adam was I am. When we are today I am and the seven spirits which are before the throne of God.

The Seven Spirits

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. This lamb was from the foundation of the world and will be at the end of the world which is. And in the midst of the throne is the lamb slain and the lamb has seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God which go out to the all the earth at all times.

God’s law reaches the feelings and motives, as well as the outward acts. It reveals the secrets of the heart, flashing light upon things before buried in darkness. God knows every thought, every purpose, every plan, and every motive. The books of heaven record the sins that would have been committed had there been opportunity. God will bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing. By His law He measures the character of every man. As the artist transfers to the canvas the features of the face, so the features of each individual character are transferred to the books of heaven. God has a perfect photograph of every man’s character, and this photograph He compares with His law. He reveals to man the defects that mar his life, and calls upon him to repent and turn from sin (ST July 31, 1901). {5BC 1085.4}

It’s flashing light on the past. The eyes are recording in not just in our dead understanding of recording but in living motive heart palpitation every thought activity. It is transferred and is data being held in heaven. This data is coming through the eyes and camera in today’s terminology. These are in the lamb slain form the foundation of the world. This camera picking up is not bound by time, it can take pictures of 2006 to 2010, and it is not bound by time. What was, is and is to come. He is taking information, the character. The eye of the Lord is upon those that fear him. The eye of the Lord is upon you and me.

Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of man [is] the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord and it is searching and taking in information. We can understand this better in the computer world. Google goes through all computers and snaps out information right in the core of the computer. In heaven is the lamb slain from the foundation of the world having seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God which go to your heart and takes the information and stores it as real.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.

The Angels Are Uploading and Downloading

In other words, the Holy Spirit searches your inmost pains and joys, through and through he searches you. He is searching to take in absolutely everything, sin or no sin. He is taking in everything and it is being transferred to the lamb Jesus Christ. In heaven we have like Jacobs ladder the angels, and when we study the angels they take in the oil which is the Holy Spirit to the earth. On Jesus Christ the angels were ascending and descending, there were uploads and downloads of information. The Holy Spirit takes of Jesus and shows it to us, 2000 years ago isn’t the questions. Its now. The holy spirit takes the cross of Christ in its all detail and downloads into your being and plays it. It is real. Christ crucified among you.

We are not looking back to Jerusalem 2000 years ago to a Jewish carpenter that doesn’t know what it’s like when an Iphone plays up or someone who doesn’t know what its like when your car breaks or when your finger is stabbed with a needle from a modern sewing machine. Whatever suffering it is, it’s not a case of him back there and me here. We can’t say he doesn’t know what it’s like to be addicted to coca cola and cigarettes as there were no cigarettes. The fact is that which you suffer has been uploaded to Jesus Christ the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

It was loaded before we were born. He had your information from the foundation of the world. Your sufferings became his. He offered himself through the eternal spirit. Are we getting the picture that time is not a barrier for God? Your modern day trials and stresses of your life have been searched out by God’s spirit who knows everything more than you realised you had. He has taken that and has played it out in real terms feeling and thought in Jesus Christ. So when we come past the way mark who are we looking at? Us. Then we have had this experience, when we believe we have the Holy Spirit of promise, the earnest, and then when we look at the cross of Christ and that earnest plays it in front of us we can say I am crucified with Christ because it’s not nothing to us that we pass buy.

It is everything to us because it is us. Some don’t care as they don’t see it as them. Jesus Christ was made to be sin for us who knew no sin. He bore our sins in his body on the tree. He bore the sins of the world. 2010 and the antediluvian world brought together in the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. When we see him we know which is not a theory but an experience knowing;

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

When we believe that is us and when we go through that experience because it is being downloaded to us then we have just begun. We have only just started the way. It hasn’t even entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those that love him. Surely he hath born our griefs. He hath carried our sorrows, he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquity and the chastisement of our peace was upon him. Through all our trials, we have a never failing helper. He doesn’t leave us alone to struggle with temptation.

Through all our trials we have a never-failing Helper. He does not leave us alone to struggle with temptation, to battle with evil, and be finally crushed with burdens and sorrow. Though now He is hidden from mortal sight, the ear of faith can hear His voice saying, Fear not; I am with you. “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore.” Revelation 1:18. I have endured your sorrows, experienced your struggles, and encountered your temptations. I know your tears; I also have wept. The griefs that lie too deep to be breathed into any human ear, I know. Think not that you are desolate and forsaken. Though your pain touch no responsive chord in any heart on earth, look unto Me, and live. “The mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of My peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.” Isaiah 54:10. {DA 483.1}

God has taken every single thing that you suffer and bore it for you. He has virtue in himself to heal the issue of blood for women. He has power to heal as he has taken the curse upon himself.

He was a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, enduring such heartache as no human language can portray. He could have said in truth, “Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow” (Lamentations 1:12). Hating sin with a perfect hatred, He yet gathered to His soul the sins of the whole world. Guiltless, He bore the punishment of the guilty. Innocent, yet offering Himself as a substitute for the transgressor. {1SM 321.4}

The guilt of every sin pressed its weight upon the divine soul of the world’s Redeemer. The evil thoughts, the evil words, the evil deeds of every son and daughter of Adam, called for retribution upon Himself; for He had become man’s substitute. {1SM 321.4}

Every son and daughter of Adam.

Christ Crucified Among Us

When we go through sufferings how do we play this among us? How do we do the works of that? Jesus says to those who want to do the works of God, he says this is the work of God that you believe on my name. Those struggles, those pains, those afflictions that you have, who had them? Jesus Christ had them. So what are you suffering? What is played out for you when you suffer? What is happening when you suffer? Is it not the cross of Christ? When you are going through the stress of your moment and God seems to be destitute and you say Lord, my God, my God why have you forsaken me?  I can’t sense you anymore, I have wronged so badly.  That pain, that experience that you are going through at that time believe it, is the cross of Jesus Christ.

It is belief because the Holy Spirit can show us the reality. We aren’t called to bear the sins of the whole world as Jesus did but we are called to bear the reproach and take it out of the camp. We are to have fellowship of his sufferings. If we die with him then we will be glorified with him. If we will come through the cross then we can walk the path. If we believe the pain of our bosom is the cross of Christ then today he is crucified among us. If you believe that is the cross of Christ and you resign to his spirit it will go away, it will stop. As soon as you resign. This is the cross of Christ. Thank you Lord. Who shall deliver me? This is the cross of Christ. I thank God through Jesus Christ. As you have the pain removed you have just started on the path.

Amen.
