24. Strange Fire

By John Thiel, The Sanctuary Series, study 24, mp3

From the creation and fall of man to the present time, there has been a continual unfolding of the plan of God for the redemption, through Christ, of the fallen race. The tabernacle and temple of God on earth were patterned after the original in heaven. Around the sanctuary and its solemn services mystically gathered the grand truths which were to be developed through succeeding generations. {FLB 194.2}

In our series on the sanctuary, although we are covering 28 studies, these are really only the basics, because mystically gathered around the sanctuary there are grand truths which were to be developed through succeeding generations. The whole study of the sanctuary covers the entire spectrum of developing truth in salvation. That is what I find very sad as I see the way that the sanctuary message has been so minimal in the understanding of those who are meant to be proclaiming it. We are now looking at what transpired in the sanctuary in reference to the fire that was burning on the altar of incense. There is something very special about that fire. What was the fire in the temple on the altar of incense? What was so special about it?

Just before the veil separating the holy place from the most holy and the immediate presence of God, stood the golden altar of incense. Upon this altar the priest was to burn incense every morning and evening; its horns were touched with the blood of the sin offering, and it was sprinkled with blood upon the great Day of Atonement. The fire upon this altar was kindled by God Himself and was sacredly cherished. Day and night the holy incense diffused its fragrance throughout the sacred apartments, and without, far around the tabernacle. {PP 348.1}

Even on the outside you could smell the fragrance of the altar of incense. It would go far around the sanctuary. The important point is that the constantly burning flame which was in this altar was kindled by God Himself. That flame continued to burn. God supplies the fire, and what does that, in symbol, represent in reality? In the earthly sanctuary it was the symbolic, the typical sanctuary. But what does it mean in reality?

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, [is] the LORD of hosts: the whole earth [is] full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 Then said I, Woe [is] me! for I am undone; because I [am] a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7 And he laid [it] upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

The coals from off the altar in the heavenly sanctuary, or in the earthly sanctuary, were burning by the power of a fire that had been kindled by God. The picture in which Isaiah describes the awesome reality of the purity of heaven, the grandeur and the majesty of the throne of God, of God and the beings around Him, fills him with a deep sense of his sinfulness, and he feels that he is undone. Because Isaiah had said, I am living among a people of unclean lips, the angel touched his lips with this fire, this coal. Anything that is communicated by the lips and the heart was to be touched by that fire so that the corruption could be consumed from that person. There is a very important connection to be discovered here. The fire that God has kindled is for the purpose of benefiting the people who are undone, sinful and unclean. It is to purge their uncleanness. It has to be the fire that God has kindled.

A Different Fire

God speaks to the Israelites in reference to a different fire, and how we are to distinguish it from the fire that purges uncleanliness and is kindled from the Lord

Isaiah 50:11 Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass [yourselves] about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks [that] ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.

God is speaking about something that is generated by man, walking in the sparks of man’s own kindling. God says, If you want to walk in that, then you will lie down in sorrow. Let us read Isaiah 29 and see how all these scriptures are connecting with the reality of the impact in our life.

The Sparks of Our Own Kindling

Isaiah 29:10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. 11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it [is] sealed: 12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. 13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near [me] with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

For Isaiah to preach, he had to be touched with the fire that God had kindled. In contrast to that fire, to walk in the sparks of our own kindling means to preach, to speak, and to draw near to God according to the precept of men. If we speak according to the precept of men, that is the kindling of man’s fire. But if we speak according to the purification that took place when the fire from heaven touched the lips of Isaiah, then we can speak that which God has inspired. This is the message in this fire. It is to do with what God has generated to communicate to people, what He has kindled. The strange fire is what man has kindled, what he has preached to the people, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

The Pure Fire and Its Spiritual Meaning

What is meant by the kindling of men? The account of pure fire and its spiritual meaning is discussed in the Spirit of Prophecy. It is here speaking of the one that has the wisdom from God:

He will represent the sacredness of the work, he will magnify the truth, and will ever present before men and angels the holy perfume of the character of Christ. This is the sacred fire of God’s own kindling. {TM 357.2}

What is the fire of God’s own kindling? That which man presents before men and angels, the truth, the holy perfume of the character of Christ. Remember, the fire was continually burning the incense, and it was creating a perfume, a fragrance. Hence the perfume of the character of Christ. The herbs that were on the altar of incense all typified the crushing of Christ’s life. The fragrance of the sacrifice of the mercy of God for us was all symbolized in those herbs.

Anything aside from this is strange fire, abhorrent to God, and the more offensive as one’s position in the work involves larger responsibilities. {TM 357.2}

The further a person or an institution is uplifted, if he or it handles anything different to the pure fire from God, the more abhorrent and offensive it is to God.

I have a message from God to the sinners in Zion, the ones whom Christ addressed: “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.” {TM 357.3}

You need to offer always the sacred fire; for then Christ’s works, His love, His mercy, His righteousness, will ascend before God, as a cloud of holy, fragrant incense, wholly acceptable. {TM 357.3}

That is the incense, if it is God’s fire. We are here getting the detail of the fragrance: Christ’s works, His love, His mercy, His righteousness. That is what the kindling of God produces.

But strange fire has been offered in the use of harsh words, in self-importance, in self-exaltation, in self-righteousness, in arbitrary authority, in domineering, in oppression, in restricting the liberty of God’s people, binding them about by your plans and rules, which God has not framed, neither have they come into His mind. All these things are strange fire, unacknowledged by God, and are a continual misrepresentation of His character. {TM 357.4}

There is such a huge field involved with this fire. We need to understand very clearly how abhorrent the strange fire is to God. It is symbolized in Leviticus 10. Nabad and Abihu were the priests in the earthly sanctuary:

Leviticus 10:1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

What did they do? They filled their censers with coals that had nothing to do with the coals from the altar. What they had to do was go in there, and get the coals from the altar and put them in their censers, and then put the incense upon those coals. But they did their own fire.

Leviticus 10:2 And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. 3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This [is it] that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

Aaron just lost two of his sons, and Moses said, See? This is what God has said. What they had done by this strange fire was a desecration of the sanctified image that is to be presented before the people. In symbol, when a person used strange fire, the fire of God consumed him. How this applies in reality we have already seen in part (Testimonies to Ministers p. 357), and we see it again here:

The Lord will work to purify His church. I tell you in truth, the Lord is about to turn and overturn in the institutions called by His name. {TM 372.4}

What did He do to Nadab and Abihu? He really turned them upside down, He consumed them.

Just how soon this refining process will begin I cannot say, but it will not be long deferred. He whose fan is in His hand will cleanse His temple of its moral defilement. He will thoroughly purge His floor. God has a controversy with all who practice the least injustice; for in so doing they reject the authority of God and imperil their interest in the atonement, the redemption which Christ has undertaken for every son and daughter of Adam. Will it pay to take a course abhorrent to God? Will it pay to put upon your censers strange fire to offer before God, and say it makes no difference? {TM 373.1}

In the ranks of Adventism, from the time that Ellen White made this statement, the purification of the things in the church that claim to be God’s church will be seen to because anyone who will use strange fire in God’s church and doesn’t see anything wrong with it is going to be purged out of the church. It then falls upon us to be very intelligent as to what this is that the Lord is going to overturn in God’s church. We were reading what this strange fire is, these selfisms that come through in the ministry of God’s word.

We now want to explore and continue to appreciate this strange fire, to enlarge it in living reality, so that we may understand and prevent it from being engaged in in God’s church.

A Fatal Deception

There is a most fearful, fatal deception upon human minds. Because men are in positions of trust, connected with the work of God, they are exalted in their own estimation, and do not discern that other souls, fully as precious in the sight of God as their own, are neglected, and handled roughly, and bruised, and wounded, and left to die. {TM 356.1}

She is here describing a condition within the church of people in position exercising their position in a way that bruises and upsets and hurts.

The converting power of God must come upon men who handle sacred things, yet who are unable, through some cause best known to God, to distinguish between the sacred fire of God’s own kindling and the strange fire which they offer. {TM 356.2}

There is a blindness on behalf of those in position who must be able to discern the difference. This is what we are seeking to clearly delineate so that we can get some answers.

Position and Responsibility

That strange fire is as dishonoring to God as was that presented by Nadab and Abihu. The sacred fire of God’s love would make men tender and kind and sympathetic toward those in peril. Those who indulge in sharp, overbearing words, are really saying: I am holier than thou. Do you not see my exalted position? {TM 356.2}

But the position does not make the man. It is the integrity of character, the spirit of Christ, that makes him thankful, unselfish, without partiality and without hypocrisy–it is this that is of value with God. To those whose life is hid with Christ in God, the Lord says, “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of My hands; thy walls are continually before Me.” {TM 356.3}

To discern between the strange fire and the fire that God has kindled is necessary, and if it is not done correctly, then Nadab and Abihu is the example of what will happen to those people.

The strange fire has to do with ministers and people in leading positions in the church that stand there and express themselves in a manner that is different to God’s manner, in arbitrary control. Strange fire has to do with harsh words, self-importance, self-exaltation, self-righteousness, arbitrary authority, domineering and oppression, restricting the liberty of God’s people, binding them about by your plans and rules, which God has not framed.

The fire that He has not kindled, that He has not framed, has to do with plans and rules, and man’s arbitrary control over each other. People cannot seem to discern the difference between the two. God is in authority, and man in position of authority can’t discern what that authority is. This strange fire is to do with self-importance and self-exaltation.

What Is the Strange Fire?

It is self.

If self is woven into the work, it is as the offering of strange fire in the place of the sacred. Such workers incur the displeasure of the Lord. Brethren, remove your hands from the work, unless you can distinguish the sacred fire from the common. {TM 260.1}

If we cannot discern or distinguish between the two, then we had better not be in the work of the ministry. What then is it that distinguishes between the sacred and the common fire?

I am urged by the Spirit of God to say to you who have a connection with the Lord’s work, Never forget that you are wholly dependent upon God; and if you pass one hour or one moment without relying upon His grace, without keeping the heart open to receive the wisdom that is not earthborn, being sure that without Christ ye can do nothing, you will be unable to distinguish between the common and the sacred fire. {TM 350.1}

We have here a vivid appreciation of how to distinguish between the sacred fire and the common fire. It is when we fail to rely entirely upon God’s input in our life. “Never forget that you are wholly dependent upon God; and if you pass one hour or one moment without relying upon His grace, without keeping the heart open to receive the wisdom that is not earthborn, being sure that without Christ ye can do nothing…” Without Christ I can do nothing. I am constantly dependent upon the wisdom that is not earthborn. Any other wisdom is strange fire. What can this strange fire be?

Words of a very forbidden character will flash from your lips to destroy hope and courage and faith. {TM 350.1}

That is what will happen if we are not constantly dependent upon God’s input. Not for one moment are we lose that in the ministry.

Thus it is written in the books of heaven: Your words were not inspired of God, but of the enemy that wounded and bruised Christ in the person of His purchased possession. Souls of infinite value were treated indifferently, turned from, left to struggle under temptation, and forced on Satan’s battleground. {TM 350.1}

To prevent those forbidden words to flash from our lips, we need to constantly rely on the fire of God’s kindling upon our mind and our words. This can only be done as we rely in every moment upon God’s input upon us.

It is no credit to one who has the word of God in his possession, to say: “I have no experience; I do not understand these things.” He will never be wiser until he becomes of much less consequence in his own estimation. He must learn his lesson as a little child. He must make it his first duty to understand the work of God in the regeneration of the soul. This change should take place in every man before he accepts a position as a leader or ruler in connection with the sacred work of God. If one has not a vital connection with God, his own spirit and sentiments will prevail. These may be well represented as strange fire offered in the place of the sacred. Man has woven into the work of God his own defects of character, devices that are human and earthly, delusions ensnaring to himself and to all who accept them. {TM 370.2}

The representation of strange fire is here vividly shown. What is it? Man has woven into the work of God his own defects of character, devices that are human and earthly. The strange fire is to be distinguished from the sacred by the total dependence upon God’s inspiration in everything a minister presents, speaks and upholds before the people, and in the manner in which he does it. It must come directly from God, not from his own self.

There are four areas that we now want to look at in regard to strange fire:

Preaching

When the preacher communicates his own ideas, his own input, his own wisdom, etc., that is strange fire. Some of the practices of preaching of today are identified as strange fire.

Neither is it the object of preaching to amuse. Some ministers have adopted a style of preaching that has not the best influence. {TM 318.1}

What is this style of preaching?

It has become a habit with them to weave anecdotes into their discourses. The impression thus made upon the hearers is not a savor of life unto life. Ministers should not bring amusing stories into their preaching. The people need pure provender, thoroughly winnowed from the chaff. “Preach the word,” was the charge that Paul gave to Timothy, and this is our commission also. The minister who mixes story-telling with his discourses is using strange fire. God is offended, and the cause of truth is dishonored, when His representatives descend to the use of cheap, trifling words.–Review and Herald, Dec. 22, 1904. {TM 318.1}

Anecdotes, storytelling, cheap, trifling words, short quips that are used as illustrations, or as something to amuse the mind in the hearing of the word of God, that is strange fire. There is a way that the preaching is done which is so common and expected in this modern age:

There are men who stand in the pulpits as shepherds, professing to feed the flock, while the sheep are starving for the bread of life. There are long-drawn-out discourses, largely made up of the relation of anecdotes; but the hearts of the hearers are not touched. The feelings of some may be moved, they may shed a few tears, but their hearts are not broken. The Lord Jesus has been present when they have been presenting that which was called sermons, but their words were destitute of the dew and rain of heaven. {Ev 209.1}

There will come the days when there will be a famine in the land, not a famine of bread and of drinking of water, but of hearing the word of the Lord.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

The Spirit of Prophecy gives a perfect illustration of this: sermons that are preached that are dependent upon anecdotes. Peoples’ feelings are moved a little bit, and there may be some tears because of the anecdotes and stories, but their hearts are not broken. They did not hear the word of God. They heard man’s oratory. The sermons’ words were destitute of the dew and rain of heaven. That is the famine.

They evidenced that the anointed ones described by Zechariah (see chapter 4) had not ministered to them that they might minister to others. When the anointed ones empty themselves through the golden pipes, the golden oil flows out of themselves into the golden bowls, to flow forth into the lamps, the churches. This is the work of every true, devoted servant of the living God. {Ev 209.1}

The oil is coming from heaven, not from man. It is the oil that ignites the candles and causes them to burn. It must come from heaven.

The Lord God of heaven cannot approve much that is brought into the pulpit by those who are professedly speaking the word of the Lord. They do not inculcate ideas that will be a blessing to those who hear. There is cheap, very cheap fodder placed before the people.– Testimonies to Ministers, pp. 336, 337. (1896) {Ev 209.1}

Cheap fodder is given, and the people are starving for the bread of life.

The object of your ministerial labors is not to amuse. It is not to convey information alone, not merely to convince the intellect. The preaching of the Word should appeal to the intellect and impart knowledge, but it comprises much more than this. The heart of the minister must reach the hearts of the hearers. Some have adopted a style of preaching that does not have a right influence. . . . {Ev 209.2}

There is much more than merely reaching the intellect.

The minister is using strange fire when he mixes storytelling with his discourses. . . . You have men of all classes of minds to meet, and as you deal with the Sacred Word, you should manifest earnestness, respect, reverence. Let not the impression be made upon any mind that you are a cheap, surface speaker. Weed out storytelling from your discourses. Preach the Word. You would have had more sheaves to bring to the Master if you had constantly preached the Word. You little understand the soul’s great need and longing. Some are wrestling with doubt, almost in despair, almost hopeless. . . . {Ev 210.1}

God is offended when His representatives descend to the use of cheap, trifling words. The cause of truth is dishonored. Men judge of the whole ministry by the man whom they hear, and the enemies of the truth will make the most of his errors.–Letter 61, 1896. {Ev 210.2}

Keep your stories to yourself. The people are not soul-hungry for these, but they want the bread of life, the word that liveth and abideth forever. What is the chaff to the wheat? –Letter 61, 1896. {Ev 210.3}

Amusement is not to be interwoven with instruction in the Scriptures. When this is done, the hearers, amused by some cheap nonsense, lose the burden of conviction. The opportunity passes away, and no one is drawn by the cords of love to the Saviour.– Manuscript 83, 1901. {Ev 211.1}

In the preaching and the handling of God’s word, the idea is that God’s pure word that He has provided must come as the answer to the burdened soul and to the questions that the people have, so that they can have clear answers as a simple statement from God.

Writing

When it comes to writing articles for the papers of the church, or even writing a book, there is an important quote in regards to periodicals and church bulletins:

Permit me to express my mind, and yet not my mind, but the word of the Lord. I am troubled in regard to the Signs of the Times. There are plenty of newspapers and magazines that publish many of the things which are put into the Signs. The name of this paper was selected because it expressed the character of the matter to be presented in its pages. You should not have so much matter in long articles that have no reference to the signs of the near coming of the Son of man in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. I think if the editor of this paper could discern the necessity of being a faithful householder, he would give meat in due season to the flock of God. There is too much common matter and not enough of the sacred; there is too much dependence upon pictures and other things that do not relate to the vital issues for this time. There is danger of following in the track of Nadab and Abihu, using common in the place of sacred fire. {CW 112.2}

The strange fire is in material that does not meet the specifics of the spiritual content that is meant to be. For example, pictures.

Concerning many of the matters that are so fluently presented, many other papers can give all the information essential for any of us. But the name Signs of the Times means that in this paper a class of literature will be found that will give the trumpet a certain sound. Let there be fewer pictures, and more real, solid, spiritual food. . . . {CW 112.2}

It is the spiritual food, not the pictures. The pictures that we use to illustrate anything in God’s word, if those pictures are not kindled from God, then it is strange fire; just like the stories that the preacher uses. There are stories in the Bible, but they have been kindled by God. The pictures as well must be carefully chosen whenever we use them to demonstrate anything in the word of God. It must be of such a caliber that it depicts correctly God’s pure message.

Teaching

In acquiring earthly knowledge, men have thought to gain a treasure; and they have laid the Bible aside, ignorant that it contains a treasure worth everything else. A failure to study and obey God’s word has brought confusion into the world. Men have left the guardianship of Christ for the guardianship of the great rebel, the prince of darkness. Strange fire has been mingled with the sacred. The accumulation of things that minister to lust and ambition has brought upon the world the judgment of heaven. {CT 440.1}

When in difficulty, philosophers and men of science try to satisfy their minds without appealing to God. They ventilate their philosophy in regard to the heavens and the earth, accounting for plagues, pestilences, epidemics, earthquakes, and famines by their supposed science. Questions relating to creation and providence they attempt to solve by saying, This is a law of nature. {CT 440.2}

There is strange fire in teaching. For the teachers who teach, or when we send our children to school, in what they hear they must be clearly taught to distinguish between the sacred fire and the strange fire. From what we have been taught we must be able to segregate those two fires very clearly so that we don’t get confused between the laws of nature and the direct intervention of God in what is exemplified in nature around us.

Raising Money for the Lord’s Work

There is another area related to the strange fire when it comes to money being raised for religious purposes.

When money is raised for religious purposes, to what means do many churches resort? To bazaars, suppers, fancy fairs, even to lotteries and like devices. Often the place set apart for God’s worship is desecrated by feasting and drinking, buying, selling, and merrymaking. Respect for the house of God and reverence for His worship are lessened in the minds of the youth. The barriers of self-restraint are weakened. Selfishness, appetite, the love of display, are appealed to, and they strengthen as they are indulged.–Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 91. {WM 290.1}

Putting on a fair, or putting on some sort of stall where women bake beautiful cakes and special dishes so that people can buy them, and that is how the money is raised for church needs. This is explained here:

And what impression is made upon the minds of unbelievers? The holy standard of the Word of God is lowered into the dust. Contempt is cast upon God and upon the Christian name. The most corrupt principles are strengthened by this un-Scriptural way of raising means. And this is as Satan would have it. Men are repeating the sin of Nadab and Abihu. They are using common instead of sacred fire in the service of God. The Lord accepts no such offerings. {WM 290.2}

All these methods for bringing money into His treasury are an abomination to Him. It is a spurious devotion that prompts all such devising. O what blindness, what infatuation, is upon many who claim to be Christians! Church members are doing as did the inhabitants of the world in the days of Noah, when the imagination of their hearts was only evil continually. All who fear God will abhor such practices as a misrepresentation of the religion of Jesus Christ. –Review and Herald, Dec. 8, 1896. {WM 290.3}

The strange fire that caused the death of Nadab and Abihu includes raising money by other means than simply calling for the offerings to be given for the needs for the church. Something else must be done, in their mind, to raise money and cause people to give by attracting their lusts and desires and by dishonouring God’s method.

Therefore, we have strange fire in the preaching: it then means that it is something in the presentation of God’s word that is gained from self and from others sources than what God’s word plainly convey, like anecdotes and stories. In the writings of the articles: pictures and material that are not relevant to the pure word that is to be conveyed. In the teaching: it is when the people are turned to the laws of nature instead of God when it comes to the catastrophes that God permits to fall upon the world. Finally: in the use of money.

God is very specific that the ministry of God, where the word of God is conveyed, does not mingle strange fire or something that does not come directly from God into their ministry. The ministry is to make a clear distinction.

Leviticus 10:8 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, 9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: [it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations: 10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; 11 And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

They are to distinguish, and make clear before the people, the sacred from the common, between holy and unholy, unclean and clean.

As the children of Israel came out of Babylon captivity, they were given instruction that they were to clearly understand, because they had been under false influences in Babylon.

Ezekiel 44:21 Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court. 22 Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before. 23 And they shall teach my people [the difference] between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

This is God’s complaint:

Ezekiel 22:26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed [difference] between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

To place before the people of God these strange fires causes God to be profaned. There is in the sanctuary message a clear direction that God must be brought before the people in His true majesty, and must not be profaned by human ingredients, by self, by anecdotes, by personal ideas and opinions that are not derived directly from God. Whether it be in preaching, in storytelling, in anecdotes, in the pictures used when writings are placed before the people, in the schools, or in the raising of money, or in whatever else, nothing is to be introduced that does not come from God Himself in His wonderful inspiration and kindling.

This is the important subject in the sanctuary message that must be included in all the broad impacts of what comes through the sanctuary study.

Amen.

      Hi Joy

      I will ask the author of the article but yes, I would say it is strange fire.

    May I ask a question? I am Adventist. I was not baptized in 2008. My church is what I learned apart of the GC. My church rents the sanctuary on to Sunday believers every Sunday to a church to assist with church cost. Now I just listened to Strange Fire presentation therefore, is that the same thing?
