Are You God’s Shadow?

By Paul Godfrey

Let Us Make Man in Our Image

In the beginning God created our planet. God says and it’s done. This demonstrates the power of his word right at the beginning of the bible. Even if you go to the end of the bible which is the Revelation of Jesus Christ it is also about a creation of God saying let us make man in our image. This is a revelation of God in creation. At the end of this planet is a revelation of Jesus Christ at the end of the bible to be in his people in the last days. God said let there be light and there was light. God said and it was so.

Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Read the rest of this entry

How Many Shall Be Saved?

By Paul Godfrey

Audio: How Many Shall be Saved?

A question was posed to Jesus.

Luke 13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out. Probation is Closing, Are You Ready?

By Paul Godfrey

Revelation 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

God has a priority and that priority was established before the foundation of this world. He has had a purpose for many years. This purpose is in the heart of him to accomplish. Ephesians describes this purpose.

Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

1:10 That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him: Read the rest of this entry

The Wine of Babylon Verses The Blood of Jesus

By Paul Godfrey

Audio: The Wine of Babylon Verses the Blood of Jesus

The saving of souls is to be our occupation and how to become saved ourselves comes by understanding what the Word says. The purpose of humanity is to do the will of the Father, to know by experience the things that we are meant to do in these very last days. Two weeks ago I knocked on a door and did some mechanical work for a Pastor. I asked him what he thought about the 1888 message. He replied ‘I don’t care about the past, all I care about is what happens tomorrow!’ and with these words he closed the conversation and we parted. I was bewildered by his response because the past in Bible history is the key that unlocks what we are to do today and tomorrow. We know from the scripture that Jesus learned by the things which He suffered and so humanity as a whole is to learn from the things that we have suffered as a race. With this in mind, consider the ancient days. There was Babylon a mighty nation which did evil in the sight of the Lord and the evil reached up to heaven. Jeremiah goes into the detail of the destruction of Babylon and this object lesson is very appropriate for our day. In Jeremiah we can compare scripture with scripture to find our way through the records of Biblical history. Jeremiah wrote in a book of all the evil that should come upon Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far [are] the words of Jeremiah. Read the rest of this entry
