Marriage – A Life Long Tie
Like every other one of God’s good gifts entrusted to the keeping of humanity, marriage has been perverted by sin; MB 100.00
Not long after the fall, the happy and sacred condition of the family was perverted. God ordained that man should have only one wife, but the people before the flood gave up God’s appointed ways. Consider this example:
And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zilah. Genesis 4:19 Read the rest of this entry
Will There Be Mass Martyrdom’s Before the Close of Probation?
Many today say that there will be mass martyrdom’s of the 16 million Adventists before the close of probation to leave a small number, namely 144,000 at the close of probation.
Bible history shows in its always a small remnant that stands up for truth in times of crisis whilst the majority apostatize.
The majority will join the ranks of the opposition and not be put to death.
Soon God’s people will be tested by fiery trials, and the GREAT proportion of those who now appear to be genuine and true will prove to be base metal. Instead of being strengthened and confirmed by opposition, threats, and abuse, they will cowardly take the side of the opposers. {5T 136.1} Read the rest of this entry
20. Understanding The Way of Judgement in the Sanctuary
John Thiel
Audio: Understanding the Way of Judgement In the Sanctuary
Once we get information as to what is right and wrong in regards to actions, we fall into a danger of becoming judgemental and judging by what we see and making certain conclusions which don’t help anyone. Our careful study into judgment, the way that we judge must be revealed to us as it is from the sanctuary.
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
55:9 For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
God’s ways of judgment are not your ways, they are distant. They are as distant as the heaven is form the earth and higher. Our comprehension of judging is something that we are in need of understanding as God’s way otherwise our own way will be completed out of heavens sway and we will have no admittance there. We are to tune into God’s way of judgment. To whom will God show his way of judging because his way is over and above mans way? Mans way is so different and can God really reveal it if it is so different? Read the rest of this entry
Basking in the Lord
By John Thiel
Scripture Reading: Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
What does it mean to follow Jesus steps? It means to follow his example, to follow his suffering because Christ suffered for us. We are called to follow like that, suffering. Some people don’t like an announcement of suffering. Following Jesus means suffering but when we suffer we are able to find comfort in the Lord. I once studied with a man and it came up many times and at the end he said you keep on talking about suffering. We are called to suffer with Jesus. Read the rest of this entry
Prophesy Against the Shepherds that Feed Not the Flock

Psalm 73:23 Nevertheless I [am] continually with thee: thou hast holden [me] by my right hand.
73:24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me [to] glory.
73:25 Whom have I in heaven [but thee]? and [there is] none upon earth [that] I desire beside thee.
73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth: [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. Read the rest of this entry

The Law Without Jesus
By John Thiel
Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
We continue our consideration of the symbol of the children of Israel as they were travelling across the wilderness and as they came to the river Jordan and were called upon to sanctify themselves as on the morrow they would enter into Canaan. We are very close on the borders of the heavenly Canaan. Soon Jesus will come. The earth is ready to be dealt with. We today are to sanctify ourselves to cross into the Promised Land. Sanctify yourselves or make yourself holy. Sanctify means holy or set aside, or purify yourself. Read the rest of this entry
4. Daniel 11 – The Rising of Rome to the Birth of Christ
John Thiel
Audio: The Rising of Rome to the Birth of Christ
Let us glance back at some scriptures that pointed us into the understanding of Daniel 11. The things that God inspired to be written were for a particular purpose. His purpose in orchestrating the political and spiritual events of the world is to come to a conclusion of a world without end.
Isaiah 45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. Read the rest of this entry

Who is Melchisedec? He is the one that fills all the specifications the Bible gives of Melchisedec.
- He was a man “Consider how great the man was.” Hebrews 7:4.
- He was a king. “King of righteousness.” “King of Salem, which is King of Peace. Verse 2.
- He “was priest of the most high God.” Verse 1.
- He “abideth a priest continually.” Verse 3.
- He was greater than Abraham, for Abraham paid tithes to him, “and without contradiction the less is blessed of the greater.” Verses 4-7.
- Abraham received the promises, therefore Melchisedec was greater than the one who received the promises of God.
- He is the one “of whom it is witnessed that He liveth.” Verse 8.
- He was made “like unto the Son of God,” and therefore was not the Son of God.” Verse 3.
- He was without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life.” Verse 3. Read the rest of this entry
3. Daniel 11 – God’s Detailed Activity in Forming History
John Thiel
Audio: God’s Detail in Forming History
We have been examining the scope of the Daniel 11 vision right from the time of Babylon and Persia and down to the very last days, the time of the end. We are beholding Michael and the angels affecting the minds and activities of human affairs. This is the intent of the study of prophecy. We read in 2 Peter that the morning star is to arise in our hearts if we would take heed to prophecy. As we study prophecy, what are we in fact studying? It’s already suggested in the previous scriptures that we have been reading but let’s turn to Revelation as here is another amplification of what prophecy is; Read the rest of this entry

God’s ways are different to our ways.
Psalms 63:1 O God, thou [art] my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

Has Your Probation Already Closed?
By John Thiel
Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
It has been stated to me several times over the past few years – while there is life is hope. This has been uttered in reference to souls who have turned away from the word and us in upholding the pure word. It is well true that probation ceases at death. Probation is closed for every individual who has died but is there such a thing as probation closing for those who continue to live? Is it is possible that a person has no more hope for the future or a person is absolutely sealed for the future to be saved? Is there such a thing as that happening while we are still living?
